Questions here may I ask are you going make some changes to the 6 becomes 5? Due to all the beast cookies you know story lines? Also how will Sparkling joy cookie react to pure vanilla being temporary corrupted by Shadow milk cookie?
Yes, there will be changes made to Six Becomes Five now that we have a majority of the Beast storylines! As for SJC's reaction, I won't spoil anything, since you will get to see it in that chapter. :)
Warning: This contains spoilers for episode 11 of Beast-Yeast! These will be, mostly, word-for-word depictions of the scenes! Read at your own caution.
When the others went silent, the Bloom of Compassion worried. Only the Salt of Solidarity remained, and together, they searched to see if the other Divine Emissaries lived still. Even if their Creators had gone silent so long ago, their divine mission couldn't be ignored.
"My friend.. do you think..?"
"Do not despair, Bloom of Compassion. These lands still need our guidance, and we must not lose hope."
With the words of assurance, the remaining two Emissaries continued their work. Alongside Elder Faerie Cookie, the Guardian Tree continued to bloom, hosting new Virtues for the future.
But soon, the continent began to crumble. Followers of sin, of Destruction, Sloth, Apathy, and Deceit arose. The Knights of Kala Namak, despite their most valiant efforts, could not stave off the forces that had been led their by their own Cookies. The Bloom of Compassion, hidden away in the Faerie Kingdom as the Tree showed them the despair of the Salt of Solidarity.
"Will you two greet me even now, when I am covered in jam and Cookie crumbs...?"
"I am sorry. The Guardian's Tree has shown us all that transpired in the Great Barren."
"I shall always greet you, my dear old friend. Always."
"Then I beg you, Bloom of Compassion. End my life by your hand. For I have lost my Virtue."
The Bloom of Compassion refused.
The terrible news was delivered to the former Divine Emissary. The others, whom they once stood side by side with, had intentionally hidden away from the remaining two. Hidden behind sinful power that had brought their continent to its final stand.
The former Salt of Solidarity had one final wish; to perform the ritual to bind fallen Desserts. Ancient magic performed by their creators. But twas a ploy that needed far more cunning than just power alone. And so, the Bloom of Compassion offered an idea.
"The two of you shall do the ritual.. but allow the Beasts to think it was I who sealed you away. I can use what spells I know to create an illusion of our Creators. So this way, my dear friend, you may stay and watch them without fear of retaliation."
The former Salt of Solidarity, the only one to not fall into obsession over the Bloom of Compassion like his fallen comrades, agreed. It was agreed that no Cookie shall know the truth, that all would believe that the Salt of Solidarity had, too, fallen into corruption like the others.
"O Silver Seal Tree! I offer my dough to be bound beneath your roots."
"O Silver Seal Tree! Conceal the corrupted beneath your bark."
"O Silver Seal Tree! Cleanse their evil and bear the fruits of new Virtues!"
"O Silver Seal Tree! Pierce their dough with Divine Forks!"
And just as done so, the Five Beasts were trapped by the Divine Forks of the Godly Creators. With the aid of the Bloom of Compassion and their magic, four of the Beasts believed that it was them and the Witches who sealed them away.
When it was all said and done, the only Virtue that remained was Compassion. They stood by Elder Faerie's side, gazing upon the tree that now held the Beasts.
"What shall you do now, Bloom of Compassion? Your Fields of Repose were the only places not touched."
"I shall leave. Guide these Cookies to new lands. Take upon myself a new name and continue to spread the truth of Compassion."
"I understand. But, before you leave. These new Virtues. May you.. name them?"
And with that, the Bloom of Compassion left Beast-Yeast, taking their followers and whoever survived the attacks by the Beasts.
Time passed, as it did. The world forgot of the Beasts, of the Virtues, of the land beyond.
The Bloom of Compassion took a new name upon themselves.
"Sovreign Reader Cookie."
Smiling, a Cookie clad in a cloak with the patterns of a butterfly turned around. "Sour Cream Cookie. Bread Butterfly Cookie."
A Cookie with dough as white as his namesake, fluffy white hair with stripes of green running through it. Soft greens eyes that were narrowed, though. He wore a tailored, high-collared coat, black with sharp silver accents, and a ruffle that resembled whipped cream. Underneath, a fitted cream-colored tunic with thin black lacing along the chest, and long black gloves with faint feather-like embroidery on the cuffs. Slim dark trousers were tucked into tall boots polished to a glossy shine. His crows wings rustled in contempt.
Another Cookie, with soft tan dough stood beside him. Her hair was a soft chestnut brown, and her eyes were a softer white. Curled atop her head were antenna sprinkled with flower, and behind her fluttered butterfly wings patterned like baguettes. She wore a layered dress, the bodice cream-colored with faint bread patterns embossed into it, sleeves puffing outward, and skirt fanning out into delicate like holes in a slice of bread. She wore knee-high boots, white like her gloves.
To the kingdom, they were Reader Cookie's advisors and most loyal knights.
To you? They were the most loyal, the oldest Cookies you knew.
"You two look tense," you noted. "What's wrong?"
The duo shared a look. Then, Bread Butterfly stepped forward, handing you a letter. It was simple, penned by Pure Vanilla Cookie, but it asked you to..
Join them in an expedition to Beast-Yeast. The one place you swore, you swore you would never return to.
The markings of your morpho butterfly patterned cloak caught the light filtering in through the stained-glass window. Your lips pursed before you sigh.
"If there's even the chance of the Beasts awakening.."
"Your Majesty, surely you can't be considering this!" Sour Cream protested. "We left Beast-Yeast for a reason."
"We did," you agreed as you fold up the letter. "But I also swore to protect Cookiekind if it was ever needed. And again.. if there's even the smallest sliver of them awakening.."
"Then let us come!" Bread Butterfly pleaded.
"No," you sighed. "You will stay here, protect the Kingdom in case something happens."
Your two closest friends shared a look. You knew that they did not agree.. but you also knew that they saw the logic in your words. They bowed their heads, and you softened.
"I would love for you both to come with," you assured them, "but this is something.. I must handle alone. But trust me, when I come back, I won't ever dream of returning to Beast-Yeast."
And now, days later, you wished you had said no.
Because as the Silver Tree's bark cracked and split open not so long after meeting White Lily Cookie, and you heard that familiar cackling laugh.. you knew you'd made a grave error.
And as the Beast of Deceit burst free from the tree, giant form grinning downward at the assembled Cookies, you felt yourself resign to the fact that you would be here far longer than you wanted to be.
Especially when Shadow Milk Cookie's eyes landed on you, and his grin stretched so wide it threatened to crack his dough.
I can only imagine how Silent Salt fairs in Uno Reverse. Did your plans change, or is it somewhat the same?
- 🍪
It's still somewhat the same!
It'll make sense to those who played the update, but Silent Salt does lead the way in sealing away SJC/You in Uno Reverse. He, like the others, has mostly dealt with the grief of what happened by the time the AU starts up. That doesn't mean he didn't take it the hardest alongside Eternal Sugar, since Compassion and Solidarity tend to go hand-in-hand.
Of course, this does mean I need to.. somewhat change the legend of what happened in the Uno Reverse! But it won't be too hard, lol. Maybe in the final week of the Silent Salt update.
I'm going to do a little inbox clean, unfortunately, because there are a lot of asks in there (I'm talking around 100+) that I will genuinely never have the time to get to. I do have ask dates on, so I do know what asks have been sent recently and what not.
While I'm doing that, please feel free to ask about the new timeline for Six Becomes Five! And if you have any concerns, send them my way, because I want to make sure that no one is left confused. :)
Now that we know more of Silent Salt, is SJC still an enabler to him? Like I imagine despite being corrupted, they're neutral and just agree with everything, no matter if SS is plotting against them.
- 🍪
Haha, yeah, it does change a lot now that we know what we know.
Honestly? I can see SSC being more sympathetic towards SJC than the other Beasts. Knowing what we do, I think SJC would probably be the second the last to fall, probably that being the burden of taking in far too many Cookies who needed sanctuary, it weighed on SJC and they fell.
Are they an enabler still? Yes. Very much so. Though it more changes to them attempting to make him speak more, speak about what it was like to fall, that sort of thing. And he probably feels more sympathy for SJC but still knows they need to be resealed.
Not sure how many changes will be made in the new timeline of “Six Becomes Five” but I hope that Silent Salt Cookie will still be yandere even if he isn’t nearly as evil as the other Beasts. He can still be obsessed with Sparkling Joy Cookie, he’d just be less overtly possessive about it or at least be self-aware enough to have some self control.
One thing, to me, is that Silent Salt isn't really... evil. Spoilers under cut for anyone who still hasn't played the new episode!
But for anyone who doesn't want to see my ramble; I don't really see Silent Salt as evil! Regardless, Silent Salt will still be a yandere, but.. well, I hesitate to say healthy because no yandere is healthy, but he is far more aware of how unhealthy those thoughts of his are, and he keeps an extremely tight hold on them.
Silent Salt had just left his kingdom for no more than a day, maybe two.. and then the very people he'd been fighting against, the very people threatening the Virtues he and his friends were meant to be protecting, came to his kingdom and slaughtered all his people.
To me.. well, that was grief. That was anger and rage and hurt. He returned to find his people crumbled.. and the Cookies who did it still there and gloating about it.
I don't think he's evil. He said "the burden of mourning will be mine alone". I just think, well... he's a Cookie who was doomed by circumstances. His people were killed during a time they needed him most, his friends hid away from him..
So, like I've been saying. I don't think he's evil. I think he was just.. doomed, really.
Another Sparkling Joy idea, imagine if they’re actually really fond of Shadow Milk’s jokes(when they’re not at the expense of someone’s well being) so during the venture into his spire, they end up cracking up at some of his bits in spite of their determination.
And Shadow Milk KNOWS it and deliberately brings his A-game
Considering how close they were pre-corruption? Yes, absolutely, I can see this happening! He would very much notice you/Sparkling Joy snickering a little and would definitely be noting down every joke he notices you laughing at.
in one the parts Shadow milk cookie, like hurts sparkling joy cookie/ sparkling joy cookie takes hits for white lily cookie and shadow milk ?unintentionally? Hurts them by landing a hit on their soul jam and then like messes with sparkling Joy's head to like convince them to stay with him?
Basically where im getting with this yap session is:
Would the beasts intentionally hurt sparkling joy cookie? Do they see it as a means to an end to like try and make sjc join them but still feel really bad about hurting them?
Thank you in advance for answering [sorry if this question doesn't make sense]🩷🩷
-🪦
This is an amazing question and I'm sorry it took me so long to answer!
In all honesty, it depends on the Beast! What happened with Shadow Milk was very much unintentional, but for him, he would definitely exploit it so long as he was sure he could replicate it. He doesn't want to hurt you too badly!
Mystic Flour sees no point in intentionally hurting you. You will eventually understand Apathy, just like she did. Hurting you would just delay it, it's counterintuitive.
Burning Spice.. yeah, he would. Even if you're the object of his obsession, he would still fight you. What better way to make you understand Destruction than to hurt you and everything you hold so dearly to your heart?
Eternal Sugar would NEVER harm you, never. She refuses to entertain such a notion, and if she even does harm you, you can absolutely bet she's apologizing over and over again!
So i was drawing you.. actually for once wanting to finish a full-body render.... it was going smooth... aaaand then i was forced to get a new phone and ibis deleted all my drawings. Imma go put on a wig and face paint since apparently i ought to work in a circus.
-long lost child, rant.
I gently place my hand on your shoulder.
The fact that you were even doing a drawing of me warms my heart, dear. Don't think your effort will go unappreciated.
And also, what makes you think this ISN'T a circus, we're all clowns here /j
Many would think that the newest revelations would mess up my plans for Six Becomes Five when that is far from the case. In fact.. it allows me to do something I've been wanting to do but didn't know how to approach for some time!
Not only does this finally give me proper motivation, but.. it also means I'll actually have motivation for SBF due to not liking how the story was originally.
