Heya! If two people apply to collaborate, would we get to have 1 submission in total between us (1 collab pitch), or would we be able to collaborate on 2 submissions (2 collab pitches)?

so sorry i missed this one... collabs are set up to be more of a one writer-one artist collaboration, so would still be limited to a single 3k words work; if you applied as two writers this round, i included you both in my writer limit when counting apps so i guess you could both write?

in general it's preferred that both participants apply separately anyway regardless of what kind of creator combo it is!

an important expansion for the vol. 3 theme: ageless, young-looking immortals/supernaturals/etc. are acceptable as the old man character, as long as they are above the age of 50 and highlight themes and character traits relating to age! see the carrd for examples

up to 75 participants with ~ 30 writers

apps are not judged based on content or quality of your work - we may however judge the quality of prompt you include with your app and whether it fits the theme

we don't want to reject anyone but last year we filled up in 24hrs 🥲 we've changed some guidelines and brought on new mods to accommodate more people this round!

this is a FREE zine project and i'm so glad we continue to get great participants every year!
