yasmin had apparently messed up BIG TIME!!! not only had she dragged santi through the mud with hiding her true feelings but also shane too. it seemed he was an innocent bystander who was being sucked into her mess of a life. tucking a single curl behind her head, she looked at the male with a small smile on her face. although her mind ran with so many anxious thoughts. ‘uh, i’m not and thank you.’, she responded with a small smile, ‘i guess this is kinda weird. ’

Seeing her sister coming towards her directions, Yasmin wanted to silently slide further in her direction of the dark corner 'Uh, you’re not wrong.', she responded, looking her sister in the eyes for once, ‘Jade’---she addressed her alias which felt so foreign coming from her lips before she leaned a little further towards her ‘I’m not exactly out of the closet yet, Luc.’, she muttered her voice barely above a whisper.

    confusion was his first reaction, an eyebrow arched as he watched yasmin bid on someone else,  swallowing as another anonymous came in and then as mallory’s bid came in. he stood up there, smiling, and applauded as the ladies made their way up to the stage, holding his arm out for mallory to grab. he walked down the stairs, his left hand on his stomach as he unbuttoned the tuxedo before excusing himself briefly, needing to go fine yasmin. while their relationship wasn’t in the best conditions, he knew he needed to talk to her, find out why – or why she would even bid on someone else. finding her, he walked towards her, hands in his pockets. “yas…” he called out behind her, “what the fuck was that?” the young man immediately added, “listen, you need to tell me what the hell is going on here because.. i..” he couldn’t do it anymore. he knew he wasn’t the worlds best boyfriend, but yasmin didn’t win the award for best girlfriend either. they barely saw each other, he sought comfort and pleasure in other places. “you need to tell me what you want yasmin because truth be told.. i’m not even sure what’s going on here anymore..” 

yasmin wished she could say that things were easier for her and she could really want to be who she was in the first place...but she was tired of pretending but she was also highly terrified of the outcome. sure, she can bat her eyes all day at santi and playing the doe eyed girlfriend--but even she had to admit she wasn’t good at that. it was like her double life was already starting to tears her apart so much...like she was a piece of paper being torn in half. who was she exactly?? ‘i-.’, she responded briefly as she noticed her boyfriend standing in front of her. ‘i’m sorry..i just it’s things are getting difficult i guess..like i mean aren’t you sleeping with other people?’, she answered his question with another question. things were getting messier between these two..and sometimes she was remorseful for even agreeing to date..but she was even more terrified of telling him the truth. ‘i mean do you want to explain that while other girls are bidding on you too??’

evan entered the room and whoever had put the ball together, definitely had done a thorough job. it screamed valentine’s day form head to toe. he took a deep breath and adjusted his maroon-colored jacket, while moving his hand up to his head so he could push the hair around a little, adjusting it while giving a couple of people who walked past him a soft and friendly smile. licking his lips, evan looked around the packed room, to see if he could see anyone that he actually recognized. that was when he decided to head over to the punch table, guessing it was as good a place as any to start the night off. grabbing one of the red cups from the side of the bowl, evan poured the liquid into the cup and lifted it to his nose. a soft grin on his lips widened and he took a sip of it, before he turned around and leaned his body the frame of the table, with his arms crossed over his chest. ❛ hey, ❜ he said and smiled towards the person who was slowly approaching him. ❛ you look great! are you enjoyin’ yourself so far? ❜ he asked as he took another sip. 

has she dreaded going to the ball ? apart yes! she was clinging onto a relationship where it was mainly one sided but she’d rather lead someone on than people to discovery her true identity. maybe that made her heartless, but it was much easier for her, the room was decorated head to toe with hearts, all laced with pink and red. it was oozing with love...but it was ironic since yasmin had barely seemed to have one anymore. although her dressed was the epitome of valentines---laced with florals and pink chiffon--she felt like a fish swimming in a glass bowl..only trying to escape. her mind seemed to have caused the female to zone out as she blinked twice as she recognized the male in front of her.  ‘hi.’, she spoke with a small smile on her face, ‘you look very handsome yourself..things are going lovely! how are you though? ‘, she responded in an attempt at a very lame joke.
