CLAN. U hu, that’s a tricky one because I’m pretty darn fond of all of my threads. The ones that have a huge impact on my muse are basically ones with @weismanniisms and @cruentusaduro ?? I just feel that they are more emotionally invested because of the angst we ( or I ) have been piling on top of their shoulders LmAO. Although, I’m a huge sucker for being caught off guard and god damn, @roku–gen really pulled that off so well I was literally just staring at her response and was like WOAAAAHHH DAMN. Though, I think she was just as surprised as I am so HA. But I really did enjoy that reply a hell lot more than I should and please catch me off guard any time, I will literally love you with all the chicken nuggets I have.

For now, he thinks, it’s perhaps best that he can still consume time to pursue the courses of the mysterious clan. ‘ And I do mean so. When weight befalls on his shoulder, he turns and finds that his companion had stumbled into slumber. For a seasoned fighter, he doesn’t anticipate for Kanda to be as careless as to nap against someone; either he’s become an anatomy of trust or the exorcist is simply too exhausted with fatigue to save himself ( or both, really ). He thinks of how he once ( or too many times ) imagined a future without Kanda when he’s pronounced dead. Not being able to see someone close again is hard, but he swallows, for he fathoms the dread of death itself is equally – or if not more, petrifying. He’d blame himself, for being the catalyst of the exorcist’s expiration ( or so he believes ) and of so much more lives that had accepted him prior to this. He’d have recurring nightmares but remaining tight lipped in the morning, as he desires none to burden his woes onto others; not when he’s the embodiment of misfortune himself. Though he knows, by the back of his palm, that the disastrous streak may not halt now – or ever and yet he still finds himself by the exorcist’s side, with the other’s head languidly and frightfully trustingly against his shoulder. Even with that thought in mind, he finds no strength to withdraw and he thinks, he’s a bad, selfish person.                     Maybe one day, he ponders, he will find the strength to pull away.

‘ ... I’m glad that you’re still here. ‘That’s the genuine truth he pronounces, in spite of all the wickedness it embodies. There’s serenity on his visage, in contrast to the natural fiend always at rousing at the core of his existence ( angel, being the benevolent spirit of heavens and death, life’s own villain and end ). For now, he knows, he’s contented with just this. Kanda being alive and within sight; so there’s a chance he could keep him alive. At this point, it’s unequivocal that he’s the most important person person in his life ( all others dead ). He struggles with losing him – to anyone or death; it shakes him to the core, like earthquakes rampaging a lone island. He’d survive, like the land mass, but he’d be internally wrecked into debris and ruins ( like so many times ). Perhaps the secrecy behind his feelings would be kept tucked away, only for himself to contemplate but maybe, just maybe … Kanda may have known it too ? Nevertheless, an amiable smile graces upon lips, his features gradually softening as all year’s hard work had alleviated into tranquility. It’s a rare sight of his too and he’d only have the luxury of unveiling is because his closed one is here. ‘ Welcome back home. ’
