My sister’s father in law made these amazing mostly life size sculptures made out of junk metal. My favorite part is that they all have this flow of movement and many of them have moveable parts (like the car with hood/trunk you can move).

Finally caught up with Downton Abbey. Good god, it was like my life was put on hold and now I can live again.

Why do so many wives/moms feel overwhelmed and say they don't have time even for themselves and then their husbands have time to cheat and be with other women or with the boys while hitting on women or on the internet looking at dating profiles of women? What's the disparity, why aren't men so overly involved in their kids life and home chores that they literally have no time to even think about other women? Why is society so afraid to bring up simple conversations about what makes so many men cheat on the wives that are slaving for their families? Why are these topics so taboo that women don't air their cheating husbands to the public and let their entire familes know who that "man" really is? I've got so many questions and no answers.

I dont think I understood racism until it reared it's ugly head in front of me. In college, I was suddenly thrown into a world where the % of white people suddenly ​boomed all around me, while my high school probably had a total of 3 white people. Surely I had already experienced it before this but not in a in-your-face way. In college I was asked by a white professor in a condescending manner if I understood English and how clearly it wasn't my first language. I never asked another question again in that class. This man would eventually be fired. I had an internship where I was told by a 60yo white male (in Newark nonetheless!), after asking where I grew up, 'that he didn't have to get to know me to know that my education would be subpar in comparison to his.' My then boss immediately spoke up and said, I do know her and I can tell you that obviously just with your last comment -her brain is superior to yours . My eyes definitely welled up and I'm glad my boss spoke up for me because I was busy picking up the pieces of my pride off the floor. I still stay in touch with that boss. These are reasons why now an older white man says anything nasty to me and I go nuts because back then I said NO MORE. So is it that we are this way or that you shatter our innocence and make us this way. Now think about how these young kids/Garner's reaction to cops? No more!

Prosecutor's grand jury strategy in Ferguson case adds to controversy

"This was a strategic and problematic use of a grand jury to get the result he wanted," said Ronald S. Sullivan Jr., director of the Harvard Criminal Justice Institute at Harvard University. "As a strategic move, it was smart; he got what he wanted without being seen as directly responsible for the result."

Sullivan called the case "the most unusual marshaling of a grand jury's resources I've seen in my 25 years as a lawyer and scholar."
