Beastie Boys

Live from The Kitchen, Manhattan, NY, December 1983

A special Christmas performance (i’m aware it’s august). Not many people know this, but the Beastie Boys were originally a punk group! Near the end of their set, they perform their first ever hip-hop song, Cooky Puss. They were also a foursome, with Kate Schellenbach on drums. (She later left/was kicked out of the band, just before they fully transitioned to hip-hop).
