Let’s Meet Our 2018 Wintersday Zine Adventurers!

The moderation team of this year’s Wintersday Zine is ever so excited to introduce our 82 contributors! We have 10 writers, 65 artists and 7 comic creators who will be lending their talents to put this charity book together.

Our goal for the project is to showcase our favorite moments from the @guildwars2 game, from the first time you stepped into the world, to hitting that first updraft, to unlocking your griffon mount, and more. They aren’t all the happy moments – we aim to tackle the memorable experiences that hopefully remind you of why you fell in love with this adventure.

Thank you to everyone who applied to work with us. We are always incredibly humbled to hear from each and every one of you, and it’s never an easy choice. We really appreciate all of your support!

Meet the Invited Contributors!

In each @wintersdayzine annual, we extend invites to returning (current) @gw2collective members and @guildwars2 Creative Partners, along with some invited guests. We are truly honored that these people are part of our ongoing efforts, and we’re grateful that they’re so willing to support our projects and the other creatives. We feel that this is truly what makes our community special, as we are constantly growing and constantly bettering ourselves.

The Final Hours of the Tyrian Tarot campaign are here.

It’s been a wild 37 days, and we’re finally at the end. Soon, we’ll be on to the next stages of the project - picking through add-ons, enjoying pretty art, and best of all, celebrating that we did so much good by embracing the creative community (we have over $15,000 going to charity!).

The countdown has begun!

Tyrian Tarot’s funding campaign goes live in one week.

If you’ve been following along, or are just seeing this project, thank you for the support! We have some ambitious goals in mind - including stretch, pledge and social media rewards - and your support is so important to us. Even small donations go a long way to supporting us and our chosen charity (International Fund for Animal Welfare, or IFAW).

In the base deck, there are 78 cards covering each of the Major and Minor Arcana, and there are an additional 22 “Wild” cards that are unlockable through the campaign. Each and every card in the deck has been sculpted with love and care, and we’re sure that you’ll be impressed with all the work our contributors have put into them.

You can add yourself to the notification list to know when the campaign goes live (April 15th at noon EDT) by adding your email here. We have some special and early bird deals available which will be limited.
