Found this in the journal of my 9yo! It brought me to tears thinking of how much love he has for him and that at such a young age he feels this incredible bond with his brother.

Here where I am

As I sit here drinking my alcoholic beverage I think of my life decisions. I'm sure as any parents that's gets alcohol into their system they ponder life. The "yes and no's" that we have made. The quick decisions we have followed through with. I always think, were they right? Were they worth it? Will it all work out at the end? I think of my 2 boys and how I, all by myself, are responsible for them! I will not deny I have some bad choices in my life but I make the best of it all and make it work for us. As I drink my drink I hope that when my kids are grown they appreciate the things I have done and look back at the lives they have lived and will make a cheers to me.
