1. Slenderman is featured in many creepypastas but is not an actual creepypasta himself

2. Slenderman and The Operator are two different beings

3. The creator of Ticci Toby asked that Toby only be shipped with his canon girlfriend, Clockwork

4. Masky and Hoody are not creepypasta, they belong to the youtube series ‘Marble Hornets’

5. JEFF THE KILLER WAS 13 DURING HIS STORY

6. Jane the killer does not have a crush on Jeff the killer, nor are they in any type of relationship. Jane’s goal is to kill Jeff

7. There is no ‘creepypasta mansion’ or 'slenderman’s house’ in any canon of the more popular creepypasta

8. Many authors of famous pastas have either abandoned the fandom or let the internet take their characters because of how many people obsess over and misrepresent their characters (ex: the author of eyeless jack removed the story from the wiki and said there are much better things you could be reading)

9. Respect others opinions. With thousands of stories, both original and spin-offs, people have different opinions on all of them. (This goes for shipping as well, not everyone in this fandom ships pastas with other pastas)

Slender Man Movie

I seriously can’t be the only one excited about the Slenderman movie, right?

I see people posting stuff against the movie that doesn’t really make any sense, like I recently saw a post saying the movie was manipulating the Slender stabbing for views and that’s why it had child actors? (even though the whole Slenderman idea is that he takes children and not adults so he wouldn’t be much of a threat with adult actors)

Or another post that was talking about how the Slenderverse hadn’t done anything with Slenderman in a while and that it was stupid to bring it back? (even though the creators have been held up with life and Slenderman is still very much active in the series)

I swear it’s only like two other people are excited for the movie and are actually aware of the concept and all other parts of the movie while most people are just finding the first thing they can to complain about it and call it trash and to insult it.

It’s not about the stabbing, or the Slenderverse, or anything like that. I’m not expecting anything like that godawful documentary about Slenderman to be put on in the theater.

There’s some pretty good things about Slenderman out there. Look at the Slenderverse is general! Some of the newer series that came out after the stabbing don’t mention the stabbing, do they? They’re not directly focused on it. The editing is great in the Slenderverse along with the actors, script, story, etc. If just a small group of people can pull that off imagine what a movie theater production can do.

Where’s the Slenderman Movie hype?

Come on. Don’t try to rain on people’s parades before you do any real research or actually see the movie. It’s hard to tell anything about a movie with what little we know about it and just having one trailer.
