Lucchini froze stiff, eyes wide in horror at the idea. Slowly her hands trembled by her sides.

Tears streamed down her face and she sunk to her knees. Her whole body shook.

Trude let Lucchini run to her partner, a soft smile on her face as the two embraced. “You better not be going anywhere soon, Liberian," she added, her voice a little taunting, "We still have plenty of competitions between you and me.”

Shirley wrapped her arms around the crying girl and stroked her head. "I won't leave you. I promise." she finished with a small smile. Looking up at the karlsland soldier, Shirley gave her a smirk "that's a promise that extends to you too Barkhorn, i won't go anywhere till i've won!"
