Health Champions Application Form

Do you want to represent your school and encourage others to lead a healthier lifestyle? Then apply to become a Health Champion!

We are looking for 25 students to take part in the Health Champions Award. Students will have the opportunity to attend a two hour training during school on 5th May delivered by the Camden Health Improvement Team, during which you will gain the knowledge and skills you need to promote healthy eating to students in your school.

If you are selected for the award, you will:

Learn about the importance of healthy eating and the key messages to promote to others in your school.

Take part in activities which build your skills and confidence to talk to other students about healthy eating.

Discuss the main healthy eating priorities for the school and come up with ideas for creative campaigns and activities in school to promote healthy eating..

Why should I apply to become a Health Champion?

To play a role and have a say on what the school is doing about student health

To gain further skills and knowledge that you can apply to future roles and job applications.

If you have an interest in healthy eating and having an influential role in your school.

If you are willing to commit to attending the Health Champions training, meetings and carrying out campaigns and activities throughout your time at the school.

To gain an award that is recognised by your school and Camden.
