I love this movie while watching it I thought of middle school (which could be a good or bad thing depending on the person)

The entire movie felt so real to me and reminded me of how people actually talk to each other and high school struggles

I think the writers did an amazing job at piecing together a movie that shows how people can underestimate what people go through just because of their status and how the are viewed by other people

I thought the actors did a fantastic job portraying their roles and the stereotypes that they are supposed to fit into you can tell that the characters had views on each other when they came together but changed as the story went on

The entire movie reminded me of someone I know personally and also events (or similar ones) I have seen while being in middle/high school

Mr. Vernon reminded me of some teachers I had in middle school and the way they treat kids which made it more real for me

I didn't like the fact that while Brian was talking about suicide everyone laughed once he said he was going to do it with a flare gun

Also the "make over" that happened to Alison was a disgrace and I thought it took from the point of the movie that people come from different walks of life and still deal with struggles they turned her into something shes not and that's when Andrew started liking her

I think it's a good solid movie it can be slow and there isn't a lot of commotion going on some scenes but I don't think the movie should've been like that

The part when all of them are sitting around talking about their situations almost made me cry because it was so emotional for me to watch

Overall I love the movie and it's a good watch for people who enjoy heartfelt movies
