Hi Cherry! The update was so fantastic! I’m so afraid :) just wondering about how fast/slow each of the LIs fall for the Crown. I have my own theory about the order from quickest to slowest (both in developing those feelings and realizing them themselves) but wanted to know if I’m at all in the ballpark haha

I don't think any of the LIs are quite in love yet by CH10, but they've each definitely developed some crushes in varying degrees...

R is definitely crushing the hardest at the moment, and will likely fall in love the fastest too. People who have played their CH10 route will know what I'm talking about, hehe. The romantic development between R and the Crown is definitely the least complicated and most straightforward out of all the LIs.

This may surprise you, but I think X is actually crushing the 2nd hardest on the Crown right now and it's freaking them out lol - hence some drastic measures that are taken in their route this chapter. X is the type of character to fall in love hard, but what makes their route so slow burn is that they're struggling to actually act on it. So there's a difference between how quickly X's feelings are developing vs the actual relationship development between them and the Crown, due to Various Circumstances (their backstory, the Crown being the Crown, unresolved trauma, etc).

D is definitely, fully aware of their own attraction to the Crown. They're also crushing a little bit, but holding themselves back from it as much as possible. It's a bit similar to X, but D is even more extreme in that they also try repress their own feelings as much as they can, because of both internal conflict as well as external pressure and very real risk and consequences it could lead to. They're not always successful at repressing it, though. D high romance readers saw that first hand lmao.

A is definitely the slowest burn in terms of crushing on the Crown and their own developing feelings. Their backstory has a lot to do with this, as well as their character traits: they're just very reserved, and it always takes them longer to fall in love with someone compared to the other LIs. I think CH10 is a good milestone where A is starting to realize that they are catching serious feelings for the Crown, just from the way they were able to open up about [backstory spoilers].

Hey! I was just wondering after finishing chapter 11, how would the dates/calendar transfer to the calendar we know now - and I was mostly wondering when each LI has their birthday, or how would that translate for R.

See this ask for the corresponding months!! As for what the canon birthdays translate to:

R: 5 Falling / September 21

A: 18 Warding / February 1

D: 1 Promise / May 20

X: 25 Remembrance / April 14

They were born on 5 Falling, 529 AE (September 21). People romancing R will have noticed that CH11 takes place on R's birthday, though their birthdate is updated in the codex regardless of the route!

The first ever magic spell R learned was to create little sparks of electricity between their fingers, at 6 years old.

R never learned how to swim. If they had to swim now, they'd just use magic to move around. Without magic, the best they can do is stay afloat.

They can speak 6 languages: the three most spoken Arsurian languages (common Arsurian, Rojan's dialect, and Penawar's dialect), Hathurian, Qatheshi, and Thallosian. They're fluent in the former two, they are advanced in Penawar's dialect, they are proficient in Hathurian and Qatheshi, and they are passable in Thallosian.

R admires the way blacksmiths use magic. It's an area of warding magic combined with the physical skill and effort of constructing the item, which really impresses them. R considers it a pinnacle of using both one's body and mind equally (a bit of idolizing here haha).

What do the ROs want/need/dread most to hear from MC?

I've answered what they dread to hear the most in general, I'll reblog that one in a bit, though not specifically from the MC. I'm taking want/need together here.

What they dread/want to hear the most from the MC, as far as their relationships up to CH10 goes:

R Dread: "I can't depend on you." Want: "I'm proud of you."

A Dread: "You're complicit." Want: "I see only you."

X Dread: "You're a murderer." Want: "I forgive you."

D Dread and want: "You've served enough."

Say that R is not in a relationship with the Crown or A after the events of the game, would they still want to adopt and raise children as a single parent, or, is it the sort of thing where they would want to seek out a relationship before doing so?

I would say so!! Being a single parent is not as hard as you might think in Arsur, parenting is done very communally where extended family, friends and even close neighbors are very involved in helping parents with their children.

R would have support from their uncle and cousins, as well as their close friends. Not to mention the added luxury of enjoying all the wealth and privileges that comes with being the Sorcerer and having servants: they would have much more spare time to parent their children compared to average people who have to do intensive labor for most of the day to get by.

I think R would very much like a relationship, but it's definitely not necessary for them to adopt children!!

Ello! I thought of this earlier, so here's an idea i kinda cooked up an hour ago.

Kpop Demon Hunters AU, but the Honmoon is a living deity that hangs out with the hunters. They change forms/styles along with the different hunters groups and are mostly following the hunters around.
