Apollo: That's like asking Superman not to be too super.
I'd rather be in outer space šø

Aphrodite: Now Apollo, be charming but not too charming.
Apollo: That's like asking Superman not to be too super.
Apollo: So I can either bake these cookies at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or 4,000 degrees for 1 minute. Artemis: Apollo nO THATāS NOT HOW YOU BAKE COOKIES. Hermes: FLOOR IT? Artemis: HERMES NO Apollo: HOW ABOUT 4,000,000 DEGREES FOR 1 SECOND Artemis: APOLLO YOU ARE GOING TO BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN Hermes: WEāRE GOING TO HARNESS THE FUCKING SUN TO MAKE COOKIES Artemis: GUYS P L E A S E
Weāve all got weaknesses. Me, for instance. Iām tragically funny and good-looking.
Apollo (via totallycorrectpjo)
When Apollo finishes his trials and is welcomed back on Olympus....
Apollo: I would like to thank my children and everyone who has helped me get back my godly status....
Apollo:... Now uh... Back to this b*tch that casted me down in the first place and made me mortal, Zeus what's good!?
Zeus: I could cast him back down.
Hera: But he saved the world.
Zeus: *grumble*
If you donāt watch āThe Office of Smiteā, you definitely should. (Itās like 5 eps only)
modern greek mythology:Ā apollo, god of the sun, music, poetry & prophecy etc
heās the kind of guy anyone would swoon over, and he knows it. golden boy with a voice like a song and a smile like pure sunlight. careful, though, before you fall in love with him. (itās easy.) remember that the sun can scorch and raze, and that heās as much of a plague as a remedy. he doesnāt know how to stop falling in and out of love, but he does know how to immortalize it with words too profound to be called poetry. (not that society sees much value in poetry anymore.) look into his brilliant, exhausted eyes and see eons into the past and into the future. he always thought the gift of prophecy shouldāve been called a curse.
Too cute not to post these
I guess I should make starters at some point. Meep! Well soon-soon, after this big move. Maybe. In the mean time, feel free to send me a message or something. If you like that is.
Damn sneezes.

āWe did lose by a few hundred points,ā Artemis reminded him. But he did have a point. Zeus would eventually forgive them for losing the arena match no matter what they did in the mortal world. Unlike her twin, she gracefully stepped down the incline to the concrete path. āWas it the Roman era we were last here? I donāt quite remember.ā A scoff and an eye roll answered his jab at her vow of chastity. She walked ahead without him. āAnd yet I have more success with women than you. Perhaps itās your poetry that makes them reject you.ā
āLose? Oooo, donāt use that word. We simply had higher priorities. Like quench our boredom. We both agreed it was getting a little repetitive. In a way Dad did us a favor.ā He lifted his hand and spun, still smiling. āLook, whole new era to explore.ā He kept his pace despite his sisters hastened steps. āLittle bit later than that. 16th Century.ā He laughed at her attempt to insult him. "Oh dear sister, you arenāt really suggesting that petting bunny rabbits, braiding hair and gossiping count as success with woman, are you?ā
