so i had a different writeblr blog before, but i just felt the need to start over so here we are <3

— im vanya/laura/mels, a mentally ill nonbinary lesbian (they/them) and aspiring filmmaker and writer. i also draw sometimes. my ultimate goal in life is to have a lego video game made out of something ive made.

— typically i write wlw romance, light horror, mystery and contemporary fiction. i like to focus creating atmosphere and unique characters. most of my works feature wlw

— why the url hairbats? its a reference to my current main wip mild red. which features excessive references to hair and a softball bat. (also sunlight and coffee)
