The bitter-sweet feeling

I don’t understand this bitter-sweet feeling. This sudden surge of anxiety, which is troublesome but still I want to keep feeling it.

The pain and happiness, for me, were nothing more than chemicals But now I feel there is something more to it Something unprecedented, something valuable.

But still, I don’t understand what this feeling is.
