Bullying my egg fried brain into doing research:

Looks like MXTX is doing some revisions again! I'm always hesitant to jump to conclusions when it comes to reading other's translations, though the overall consensus is that she has clarified that the relationship between Madam Lan and Qingheng-Jun was affable.

I like that we still have some ambiguity about the exact feelings Madam Lan had towards her marriage. Her being 'trapped' in Gusu is rather essential to the story and characters. However, I think the intention was that it was a way of keeping her safe from persecution. A reflection of what might have been if LWJ tried to save the YLLZ the same way.
