I’ve just started my succulent collection and I think it’s time to re-pot. What type of materials are the best to use, like soil and stuff? Pls help and thank you

i use a different soil mix depending on the plant. My sedum, echeveria, graptopetalum and other “thin” sun loving succulents  sit in a ½ succulent and cacti soil mixed with ½ regular potting soil (keep in mind i’m “experienced” and i let my plants show signs of underwatering almost always before i water them. They’re also in the hottest spot in front of my window indoors and so the soil dries out quickly);  Haworthias, aloes, gasterias… anything that doesn’t need lots of water and likes a little shade + mesembs get succulent and cacti soil only. 

If i were you i would get some cactus and succulent soil but some perlite to mix in there as well. Choose pots with at least one drainage hole and preferably terracotta pots because these soak up extra water and so there’s less chance you’ll get root rot.
