This has most likely been the coldest summer of my life, with most days being between 10°C and 15°C and cloudy. We did get a single proper sunny day during my vacation though, and I made sure to go for a swim!

To me, the best part about planning a wedding has been all the help and creative ideas from friends and family. So many people have contributed in amazing ways. It makes me feel really loved and seen, and I hope I get many opportunities to return the favour. I really deeply appreciate everything! From friends and great aunts to colleagues of my dad baking cakes, my second cousin once removed making amazing decorations, our best friends helping everyone get a place to stay.... so many people we love doing these really meaningful things for us!

I really feel like it's not just about our love for each other as a couple, but the love we share with our community as well.

We're getting married this Saturday! Yay!

It feels so strange! I've been on tumblr since I was 16 and in high school, and now I'm about to be a married person in their 30's! And Tarje is starting his doctorate this fall! Adult life really sneaks up on you, I hardly feel like any time has passed at all. I am, however, MUCH happier than I was in my teens and twenties. It really has been worth sticking around!
