Headcanons I like to think about Sandokan/Marianna, reposting just because I liked how it turned out.
(I’ll do the kinks, I promiiise)
* Marianna loves English earl grey tea and Sandokan likes Chinese oolong tea and they both debate about which type of tea is better whenever they drink one of the two, but they still try each other’s tea every time.
*Sandokan is a light sleeper and Marianna is a heavy sleeper
*Even though she has her own clothes now, Marianna still wears some of Sandokan’s old clothes from time to time, and he likes that because it makes him think about how they’ve evolved since she stepped onto that boat.
*Sandokan taught Dayak to Marianna before they go to sleep
*Marianna always tries to scare Sandokan by sneaking up behind him (he always knows she’s there, but pretends to be surprised)
*Sandokan taught some martial arts moves to Marianna, because he’s afraid that one day she might go through some hardship and he won’t be there to make sure she’s okay.
*They both like to watch the sunset when they’re feeling thoughtful
*Marianna is the first to go after sex, Sandokan is the first to go after it too when they fight
*Their wedding ring is a braided leaf because it was the forest that brought them together.
*Sandokan still has nightmares about his parents’ death and Marianna always comforts him by lighting a candle in the dark.
*When Marianna has doubts about something, she always asks Sandokan because she knows he won’t lie to her, even if he has to tell her she’s wrong.
*They both still talk about Sani from time to time.
*When Sandokan feels insecure about not being able to provide the same life Marianna once had, she thanks him for giving her a happy future.
