New Life, New Memories
Train lulls her softly in and out of slumber, before she’s woken up. Smooths out the gingham of her dress and blinks her eyes a few times, hands rubbing the sleep out of them. That’s right, a new town. Wasn’t it called Novi or something of the sort? It was a way to get away…and while the train had made her nervous before, she wonders why she had been so scared earlier of it. The rhythm slows, signaling they’re getting closer. Good. When it stops, she waves goodbye, takes her sketchbook and bag, and departs the train, into the station.
This is it. A new life, at least for now. Taking in a deep breath, the blonde steps through the doors and descends into the town.
  A perky young woman was there, ready to greet the new mayor, "Hello, hello! Welcome! You must be the new mayor! I'm Isabelle, I'm so happy to meet you!" Seemed the young woman wasn't going to listen to any possible protests.   "We've been awaiting your arrival! Our new mayor was to ride this train and as you're the only one who stepped off you must be the new mayor!"

I still can’t get over how super cute Isabelle is.  Even after almost a whole year.  We’re so fortunate to have a hardworking puppy secretary like her!!!
