Candles for Tamir #2YearsTooLong
This November 22nd will mark two years to the day that 12 year old Tamir Rice was shot by Timothy Loehmann. He was playing in the park with a toy and executed within less than 2 seconds. This November we will remember Tamir and his short life with events around the country. You can honor and remember Tamir this year by lighting a candle in his name. Change your Facebook profile pic with a single candle. It can be video or a photo with the hashtag #2years2long. Leave this up until midnight November 23rd, two years to the day when young Tamir died.

The purpose of this training camp is …

“In the rural villages where we live the women still don’t have a lot of rights and they are still doing most of the work,” said Coats. “But it can change and I can see it changing.”
