Palantir CEO Alex Karp recently rhapsodized that US air strikes on Venezuelan civilians would be good for business, if only it were legal.
i have a suggestion
Credit card companies will TRY to saddle you with this kind of debt by the way - if ever a loved one dies and you are not co-signed on their credit card, do NOT agree to pay their debt unless you ask a lawyer first if you truly have to.
They will say “don’t you want them to go to the grave without debt”, they will try to guilt you, they will take advantage of your vulnerability.
Source: when my father died, he had some credit cards that my mom wasn’t on that she had no access to. The companies contacted her while she was sorting through the bills and getting a handle on how to run the house alone, badgering her with his credit card debt.
She wasn’t liable for any of it, but if she had ever agreed to pay before finding out that she didn’t need to, she would have been considered to have taken on his debt and would have HAD to pay it. It’s slimy, it’s predatory, and it’s entirely legal for them to do this.
Never accept the credit card company’s word about your obligation to pay anyone else’s debt, if you don’t have access to the card, ask a lawyer before agreeing to anything.
Hi hi hello I know I am not active here and I usually go weeks without being on here but I just REALLY need to do this. ICE (Immigration, customs, enforcement) Raids have been happening all over America recently. If you think you see ICE in your area CALL: 617-370-5023. This is ICE watch!! ICE watch is the reason why you may see many videos all over the Internet of people being taken away from their families or violent arrests in Western Massachusetts. If you witness any ICE interactions or arrests in public it is YOUR right to film the interaction as long as you do NOT interfered.
If you are ever in a situation where you are at your house or your work and there is ICE talking to you please do this.
Remember YOU HAVE RIGHTS.
ICE lies about why they are there I do you suspect they are ICE do NOT trust them.
Ask to see their warrant and ID and ask them to slip or show the documents at a window or under the door. If they do have a warrant please make sure it was signed by a judge. Without a warrant signed by a judge ICE is NOT allowed to enter or search your home. Take pictures of whatever they show you.
Do NOT show the agents anything or say anything expect “I do not consent for you to enter my home.” “I do not want to talk to you without my lawyer present.” “Please leave.”
I’m sorry this is not my usual posts and I do not have that big of a platform but please stay safe. Fuck ice. Viva La Raza.
"trans men have male privilege" is just "bisexuals have straight privilege" all over again. it was a gross oversimplification then and it still is now.
can’t find a post about it so i’m making my own. the spokane 3 trial reached a verdict today and it was Bad. these people (jac archer, justice forral and bajun mavalwalla II) were part of a group of people arrested After the fact for attending a protest last june on charges of “conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers” (none of them injured anyone and a lot of the people there that day were there in response to a facebook post calling for help to prevent ice from kidnapping a community member. not exactly a conspiracy) this is a federal case and they’ve just announced the verdict and all three have been charged with counts of conspiracy. obviously a not great precedent is set by that verdict, though they are hoping to appeal. this is. miserable. posting this so people are aware because there has been speculation that they will use this as a test case to charge other protesters with felony conspiracy charges
The defendants could face up to six years in federal prison and/or $250,000 in fines. They are expected to appeal the verdict.
Listen, fellow trans women, I love you all, but if you think that trans men or transmascs are an oppressor class you need to log the fuck off because you are being brainpoisoned by discourse-mongers. That is a legitimately rocks for brains take
There is a HUUUUUGE gap between "transfems experience a unique intersection of oppressions which are not experienced by transmascs", which is true, "some passing trans men benefit from male privilege", which is true, "trans people are not immune to transphobic rhetoric and this can sometimes take the form of transmascs engaging in transmisogyny", which is true, and "transmascs should be treated as equivalent to cis men because trans men are men and therefore as men they are a danger to trans women" like do you see where the gigantic leap of logic comes in here?
There is something personally offensive to me about accounts that go out of their way to post about transmascs being dangerous or untrustworthy or transmisogynistic when the primary danger to trans women right now is the goddamn United States government. Like we've got people in the white house who would outlaw all HRT if given the opportunity and you're gonna post about trans men?? I don't even mean this in a "we have bigger fish to fry" sort of way I mean this is the sense that building solidarity is one of the most important things you can do when faced with a hostile government and society. It's not just that the claims being made are bullshit and transphobic it's that the whole thing feels actively self-destructive toward creating any kind of community that's of any use to anyone

In the short term, this is not as dangerous as an outright ban on estrogen. If implemented and then combined with other methods of suppressi
Unlike the vast majority of anti-trans legislation, hate groups are attempting to pass these restrictions without the public at large knowing they exist. This secrecy is far more insidious, and needs to be immediately addressed.
If you want to help, the two things that will make the most impact are SPREADING AWARENESS, and participating in PUBLIC COMMENT while it is still open.

Document: FDA-2025-P-7321
As of the time this article was written, ALL public comments were from hate groups in support of this registry. Every single comment in opposition will help.
Disclaimer: This article is very guilty of intersex erasure, despite the fact that intersex people of all ages would be affected by these regulations the same way trans women are. However, as this is the most comprehensive and direct article currently available, it should still be widely distributed, for the sake of trans women, nonbinary people, and intersex people who will all be affected should it pass.
I did my comment, and you should to! Be advised that when making a comment like this on a proposed regulation, the depth of your statement does matter. I strongly encourage you to take the time to read this article to get informed on what this proposal entails, and write a detailed response concerning one or two aspects that you believe you can write cohesively about and prepare a sensible counter-argument; try to draw from other sources if you can, even if you're just quoting other articles in support and in defense of HRT and transfeminism. I encourage everyone to review this official list of what they're expecting from a quality comment.
Remember, all public comments may have been from this hate campaign at the time of posting, but it was only 60. I know plenty of Discord servers bigger than that, let's show that we outnumber this hate and that we're gonna outlive this nightmare.
Update on this because I just had time to post my comment, and when you initially look at the docket, some of the information you might see on there is a touch misleading! For one, when you look at the document comment buttons at the top, it says there are 61 comments. All the comments that I clicked through there are in support of petition. BUT (and here's the important thing) the comments that have been posted for public view is NOT the same number as the comments that have actually been recieved. If you look to the side of the page, you might notice this:
If you click the more details button, you'll see a small section that reads "In some instances, agencies do not publicly post all comments received. You can only access those comments that are posted to Regulations.gov by the agencies. The number of accessible comments, therefore, may be lower than the total number of comments listed in the card below." This basically means that, out of the 6,897 comments that have been recieved, the agency has only decided to post 61 of them. The latest post of those 61 dates back to Febuary 27th. Clearly, that leaves 6,836 comments unaccounted for, and not posted. (Likely, because the 6,836 not posted are in opposition to this petition.) Now, if you go to comment like I did today, you might notice this:
This is a lie! The comment period is still accepting late comments, but what you have to do is click the Docket Document tab, which will bring you to two documents. The acknowledgement letter is closed for comments. THE CITIZEN PETITION IS STILL ACCEPTING LATE COMMENTS.
There's still some time to put in your comments people! Never loose hope, and never stop!
