to have felt a connection and a fondness for a man for so many years, only to discover that said man was living a double-life, is unbearably painful. the individual I formed in my mind was an illusion - he never truly existed.
however, this is so, so much more than the actions of a single individual - this is an epidemic that has been silently spreading and looming beneath the radar.
all those involved deserve to be discovered and punished to the full extent of the law.
may there be justice for the victims.
