Vee was in her room, coming up with trivia questions for the new season of her show, when the lights flickered violently.
She didn't think much of it. Going back to writing down ideas, she tapped the pen against the table.
The ceiling creaked it's familiar symphony as Vee cracked her knuckles. Suddenly, the sound of glass breaking shattered through the peaceful silence.
Gardenview plunged into darkness.
"What?"
Vee stood up from her desk and hurried into the hall.
"Is anyone there?"
"Yes, Vee! I'm here."
Yatta comes crashing around the corner, almost faceplanting into a wall.
"This is getting a little creepy..."
"You can say that again."
She peeks around the corners, looking for other toons.
"Shelly? Astro? Anyone?"
"Vee.....?"
*Astro was glowing faintly; using a star to light his path*
"Yatta....your here too....where'd the lights go?"
"I don't know...I hears Veronica say that they were cutting some of Gardenview's budget...maybe it's that?"
*Appears in the dark*

"Look, and I don't like this any more than y'all do, but if we extract some machines for ichor, it could generate us more energy..."
*Looey comes around the corner, letting out a tired yawn while rubbing his eyes. His ears drooping down tiredly*
"What's goin' on out here..? And why's it so dark..."
"The power's out, and we don't know if it's coming back on."

"You guys want anymore help? I'd be glad too. It's not like I've got anything to do this late at night.."

"It's been good...mostly. But I haven't seen Dandy yet. I've been talking to Vee a lot, though."
"Strange.. Dandy usually goes out of his way to make the new toons feel as welcome as possible.. Sometimes too welcome."
"Have you seen him around recently? Maybe I could introduce myself!"
Shelly paused. "Actually, no.." "I was planning to see him today about.. a matter. If you like you could.. come with."
"Really? Yay! Of course I'll go!"
"... Great!!" Standing up, she stretched and made her way to the door.
"Oh Tisha, We'll find you soon.." She murmured to herself.

Who do you think might enjoy to participate in the Gigi Game or whatever you might call it? the Museum Heist? Catch and Release? Also any particular item you'd like to try nabbing first?
One rule might be no breaking the item into pieces... but hm thinking on that having an item that normally has multiple pieces might be a fun spin on the game if just taking the one thing from one location at a time gets boring. Like a puzzle or matryoshka doll.
"Flutter, Poppy and Connie would definitely be up for it. I feel like I could rope Goob and the circus trio into it too, those guys always have a lot of energy and this might help them burn it off, plus Blot will probably make invisible walls around the item just to mess with me. I don't know what the rules would be like, but hey, the more scavenged items the better. I don't mind what it is, as long as it's shiny, like a coin or something."

"ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, fine, you can have it back. Here. Just don't try biting me."
*she opens up her head and offers the candy back with her hand. She looks up and then notices that she used Handy (her head hand) by accident*

Yatta sighs, eyeing the third arm.
"...No explanation necessary."
She unwraps the chocolate bar that had previously been stored in Gigi's head.
"How long have you had this in there?"
"Cool, cool. Anyway that bar's probably only been there for about a couple days.... Maybe a week. I don't really keep track of when I put stuff in."
"WOAH. How much STUFF can you FIT IN THERE???"
"A LOT, I've got at least three packs of pop stored in there somewhere, which are totally on brand and not Pepsi in disguise. I've never really run out of space in there, though I don't try to put anything TOO big in there, I tried fitting a lamp in there once, but it didn't work."
"A WHOLE LAMP??? WOAH!!!"
"Yeah, perhaps it was a little too ambitious, but hey, you never know unless you try!"
"What ELSE do you have in there? I know that Vee's been looking for Pebble for several days now, she's worried that Dandy's GOTTEN to him...SURELY you didn't put him inside your head?"
