What if we somehow were able to go to a concert that neither of us actually would be able to go see because you were practicing law in another country and I was in prison when it happened... and we were both prosecutors 😳
(Ok so actually bc this is based on a RP where time shenanigans are involved, I based the vibes for this off 2000s Black Parade but. Shh it's fine caption funny)

If you've ever run into me cosplaying at a con, you probably got some kind of handout from me; I think it's a fun, in-character little touch, and I also like to put my social media on the back. I was working on one for my next cosplay and thought I'd update all my old Ace Attorney ones while I'm at it :) All of them are either for cosplays I've already done, or for ones I'm working on (Simon and Maya).
I included a quote/moniker for each character to give some flavor; even though these wouldn't be on an actual business card, I think it's a fun addition :)
The Wright & Co/WAA logo, Franziska's embelem, Trucy's graphic, and Klavier's graphic were all made by me (with the Wright & Co. logo being based on the one used in canon). The rest of the assets used are from Canva's free version.

Outdated versions & extra design info below the cut!
These are the versions you might have received from me prior to 2026. The only ones that hasn't changed drastically are Phoenix's Borscht Bowl card and Klavier's card.
Design notes:
Most of the phone numbers for characters are easter eggs, can you figure them out?
Trucy's skin tone looks different from how I usually draw her because I based the graphic off a photo of my own cosplay, just to give some continuity when I pass out cards.
I included entertainment law on the WAA card to try and tie together everything the WAA does. I also think that Phoenix might brush up on some of that for Trucy, to make sure she's well protected legally for her shows and such.
Maya's card reuses the format from Phoenix's, since I imagine the conversation beforehand as Maya begging for Phoenix to order her some and, when he finally relents, she goes "Ugh this looks so boring, give me that" and, in true "17 year old with graphic design program access" goes through like a million different fonts and colors before settling on something.
And I came here to make you dance tonight/I don't care if I'm a guilty pleasure for you...
An anniversary gift for my lovely @franzizka, based of that one AU idea we had where Klavier is doing a solo tour and Simon ends up taking work as his bodyguard :)
I listened to "Guilty Pleasure" by Cobra Starship like a million times while working on this...
I'm trying to have a speed draw posted at some point too, since I just started using (and actually understanding) procreate, so stay tuned :)

Heaven has no taste. And not one single Burger Barn, let alone a soba shop...
Good Omens AU Blackmadhi! Character design symbolism and also a very old original version of this under the cut, if anyone wants to see how much progress practice makes
Symbolism/significance for Nahyuta's design: Since Khura'inism seems to draw a lot from Buddhism as its basis, I picked elements from South Asian/Indian Buddhism and some from Hinduism as part of Nahyuta's design. The clothing is similar to what many Buddhas wear in art, and instead of a Western style halo, they have a prabhamandala, which was originally from Hindu depictions of deities and was later sometimes used in Buddhism.
They're also doing two mudras, the abhaya mudra (protection) with and the chin mudra (peace). The floating scarf is a carryover from canon, but is also featured in a lot of Buddhist art, though I see it more in East Asian buddhist art
Symbolism/significance for Simon's design: In Japanese mythology, the most similar thing to a "demon" in the Christian sense of the term is an oni; they torment sinners in hell and, if they are wicked enough, a person can turn into an oni in life. Typically oni are red, blue, yellow, green, or black; wear loincloths; and carry clubs, but I chose to dress Simon in a Samurai's kamishimo and not give him a traditional oni's coloration to better match the vibe I wanted the piece to have. I kept the yellow horns that an oni usually has, as well as the tusk-like teeth.
In order to give Simon the same amount of otherworldly gravitas as Nahyuta, I drew flames around him in a similar style to traditional Japanese paintings depicting oni and youkai.
Last but not least: The poster I based this on and the old version of this drawing from two years ago. Practice makes progress!
Things keep changing faster and faster, but I hope everyone has a safe, productive, and most of all happy pride month. Whether you're out or not, whether you've found your labels, are deciding, or don't use them, we all deserve to keep growing 🌱 (me being sentimental under the cut)
Figuring myself out has been a journey, and I don't think it will ever stop. From the time I realized I might be a little queer to settling on lesbian, it's been about a decade. Maybe that will change, and maybe it won't. But it's not about being right, it's about being comfortable.
It took me a long time to find that comfort, through my OCs (from my previous pride arts) and comfort fandoms, where I could explore freely through my art, original fiction, and fanworks.
I also had close friends, both in and out of the community who I could rely on and relate to through the highs and the lows. These were both through my creations and fandoms and from the offline world, and they're arguably the most important part.
I won't call everything perfect now. I still struggle with how some in the outside world view queerness, even from some people close to home. But I also have my lovely girlfriend, my friends, and a variety of ways to experess not just queerness, but all of me. I can still find comfort.
Please make sure to find your comfort sources this month and always, and if you already have, make sure to keep up with them. Things will get better, and if they're already good, that doesn't mean there isn't still room for more good.
I can officially say that, after exactly a year of working on this (my first image file was created March 8th in 2024), this animatic is done! This is a huge labor of love, and I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. I've always admired big flashy animatics like this, and am happy I get to contribute to the fandom in this way -- It's so fun when you realize how well a song and its lyrics match another piece of work, so I'm excited to share my vision with you!

Programs used: MediBang Paint, Photomosh, iMovie (yes… I fussed over individual frames in iMovie…)
Characters belong, of course, to the Ace Attorney franchise; this is a fanwork!
