Gotta love veggie puns :D comment with your own!
Why do witches like always wanna fatten kids up before they eat them?? fat is like the grossest part of meat
“Why hello there, little children~. Please follow me to my magical… FITNESS ROOM. NO P A N S I E S ALLOWED BEYOND THIS POINT. LEAVE YOUR WHINING AT THE DOOR BECAUSE IT’S LEG DAY AND WE’RE ABOUT TO GET R-R-R-RIPPE D.”
Because they’re always cooking said kids in cauldrons and ovens - aka long cooking times at lowish heat. If you do that to fatty meat, the fat melts completely and the meat gets tear-it-apart-with-a-fork soft. If you do it to lean meat, you get tiny little sad meat bits that bring no joy to anyone.
well you did ask
Also there’s wisdom in fattening them up on sweets and other carbs. A meatless, carb-rich diet makes for more tender and flavourful meat.
you are arguing over the semantics of EATING CHILDREN
Well yeah, you gotta get this shit right or it’s a waste of 40-80 lbs of meat.
plus if you feed them a high fat, low nutrition diet, they’re easier to subdue and less likely to run away, which would be a concern for an elderly crone.
Thank you, Old Witch With Candy House side of tumblr.

you do know there's other candidates other than trump and hilary..even sell out bernie sanders. DR. Jill Stein is another female running for president. she's for everything Bernie sanders wants and more and has even been a "plan B" for Bernie supporters. look her up, research , broaden your outlook on this elections candidates ...going around Bernie tags and spreading word. there's more options I think people should look into
I know about Jill Stein, and I also know that voting for her is a surefire way to get Trump in office. Third party candidates cannot be elected in this country. It’s literally impossible with our current system. No member of the electoral college will stray from the two-part system, so by not voting for Hillary, you are very much voting for Trump. I don’t care if Hillary’s shitty, she at least has knowledge about what she’s doing. Donald Trump doesn’t even know the name of the leader of Afghanistan.
Unless you want to be lying prostrate for Trump come January, you must vote Hillary. Bernie didn’t sell out, he just recognizes that as a fact. I know it’s a shitty system, but we need to grow up and work on changing it after we’ve made sure that we don’t elect a nincompoop war ciminal-in-training.
Okay everybody huddle up. Here's the plan: we vote for Hillary this round to avoid Trump, then we got four years to come up with a better, viable third party alternative next time so we're not all stuck in this fudging situation again. Okay, BREAK!
Be careful about the latest CNN poll. CNN has decided to stop polling millenials completely which heavily skews the data (considering millennials are now the largest voting demographic).
American Horror Story season 6
Trump
You know at first I thought it was funny, but the further this whole campaign goes, after this last primary, and (coincidentally) after visiting the Holocaust Museum this weekend, I stopped laughing. I was going through the museum and at the point where it describes the Nazi rise to power it repeats several times that the jewish population saw what was happening. Many took it seriously from the start, but others didn't. Those people believed it would blow over. They couldn't believe that a power so hateful and blatantly prejudiced would ever become a serious force in their country. That's why many chose to ignore it when they could have opposed the party or at least left the country. Then I realized, oh crap, that's exactly what I've been thinking about Trump's campaign.
Ughh so cold
WATCH: What Mike Tyson Says To His Daughters’ Boyfriends
The year is 1995, congress member Bernie Sanders stands in opposition of a homophobic statement said by Duke Cunningham. Cunningham derisively refers to “homos in the military” to support his argument while (strangely) discussing the Clean Water Act. Sanders, having none of it, quickly rises to the defense of thousands of men and women everywhere. Sanders ire is such that he repeatedly disrespects the Chairman by speaking over him in order to say his piece. [Video Source]
What does this say for Sanders? Well, that’s for you to decide. But to me, it says that for 20+ years strong he has shown his public support for LGBT+ persons everywhere, even in the face of ridicule and disrespect. Unlike some, Sanders has always been vocal about his beliefs concerning the LGBT+ community, and he has always held them. Key word always, and not just when doing so might garner him support for his campaigns.

there is literally no difference between academic scholars discussing their interpretations of a text and a bunch of people yelling YOUR HEADCANON IS WRONG at each other
As a Masters student I can vouch for this.
The difference is citations.

This is actually the most cheerful post I have ever seen, as of right now.
photos by robbie shone of martin groves and gareth davies descending down the moulins of the gorner glacier near zermatt, switzerland. the first to explore these endoglacial cavities, their work will help researchers get a better understanding of glaciers and their rate of melting.
at 14 kilometres long, the gorner glacier is the second largest glacial system in the alps. its cavities are created when meltwater up on the glacier weakens the ice around it and suddenly flushes down the moulin to unseen depths. much of the water will end up at the base of glacier, helping to lubricate its movement over land.
notes robbie, “seeing how vast and extensive these moulins can be just goes to show how much water they take during the summer months and thus leading to rapid increase in the rate in which these glaciers move and shrink in size.“
he added, “sadly, it seems, it won’t be long before we are without glaciers in europe. …a lot of glaciers will disappear within our lifetimes. my photographs will show what a treasure we’re losing.”

4 Questions to Ask About Your Supporting Characters
All through National Novel Writing Month, published authors will take the whistle, take over our official Twitter account for a week, and act as your NaNo Coach, offering advice, encouragement, and pep. This week’s NaNo Coach, Renée Watson, author of books including This Side of Home, shares just how much your supporting characters can reveal about your protagonist:
To know me, to really understand me, you have to know my family. You have to know my mother’s make-a-way-out-of-no-way type of faith. You have to know how my sisters and I lip-synched to Jackson 5 records in the living room putting on concerts for my mom. How each sister taught me lessons—big and small: how to put on makeup, how to ride a bike, how to forgive, how to not make their mistakes. I am only who I am—good and bad—because of the people around me.
And so it is with my main character…

*Chuckles* Ahhhh...writing...
Me: I am going to give these two characters the happiest ending in the world.
Me: It's going to be sappy and adorable.
Me: They're going to be so happy together.
Me: And it's implied that they spend an eternity of happiness together.
Me: Yes, this will be wonderful.
Me: Or I could just kill them off.
Me: No, no.
Me: That wouldn't be right.
Me: I should kill ONE of them.
Me: I mean, could you imagine how traumatizing that would be?
Me: Especially if the one dies to save the other?
Me: The audience would be left speechless.
Me: I would receive so much hate mail.
Me: It would be great.
Me: I mean just imagine that scenario.
Me: But also imagine a scenario where they're alive, together, and happy.
Me: *Chuckles*
Me: Both of these scenarios are equally wonderful.
Me: And equally possible.
