Got around to seeing the Fortune’s Weave trailer

I for sure thought that Cai was the singular protagonist (actually got excited thinking they’d bring back the classic protags like Ike, Roy, Leif you know?) but you get to choose either Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda and play and control each if I’m correct?

The designs don’t look that bad and the portraits move too, and did I see Christmas cavs? The gameplay also doesn’t appear bad either

I am terribly confused as to what the purpose of the white clothed figures in the actual game box art are supposed to be. Are they supposed to be avatars? If so why didn’t they show them? I don’t hate or love the avatars, and if they got rid of them that’s fine, but I guess they’re still a thing?
