Bora isn’t a shy person but she is definitely not sociable. The only exception, of course, is sports. One of the few things that can convince her that this school isn’t such a hellhole after all, are watching her favorite teams games. She follows the two basketball teams the closest for the reason that basketball is her second to favorite sport. Lately, she’s gotten a greater eye for the female team as she’s been having trouble with some of the male members, and by now she’s sure to know everyone’s names on the team. Especially eye-catching, is the captain. Amber Liu. She curses to herself for feeling like a tiny hetero middle schooler who just got her first crush, but what can she do about it? However, God blessed her, after going to the games often enough Amber eventually approached her. 

She leans over the railing, tip-toeing to watch the game more closely (although she’s already quite tall on her own), letting the feeling of excitement and warmth engulf her body. Such positive feelings almost seems foreign and strange to her, but this is the effect Amber has on people. Bora swears to herself that she must be the most generous and accepting person on this school, which makes her even more intrigued to talk to her. Finding herself bouncing at her feet by the end of the match, she hopes to get atleast an high five. Get out, Michael Jordan!

So what could he do? Sioh was not great at winning arguments, specially not with people trying to kill him. His sometimes smart retorts got blocked on the moment he damaged someone else’s property. So he just took his glasses off, closed his eyes and waited for the punch.  

Sioh have never been into a fight, you can tell that much. And even if he did, he’d obviously lose. The boy couldn’t fight a pillow. He tried punching his brother’s punching bag once but only ended up crooking his fingers and it hurt.

“What’s wrong, punk? You won’t even protect yourself?!” Bora exclaims as she eyes him up and down once more, frustrated with his lowlife behavior. She loosens the grip around his tie, lowering him back on his heels but doesn’t break eye contact once while doing so. What kind of shit is this? How distastefully weak and pathetic. Almost makes me feel sorry for him.

She finally lets him go but aims for the glasses in his hand. Catching him off guard, she manages to slap the pair of spectacles to the ground. So far unharmed but she quickly raises her foot to hover above them, threatening to crush them. Let’s see you fight, wimp.

“I–uh.” He looked at the motorcycle. It was probably expensive. “Ten billions?” And the thing is, he didn’t even say it as a joke - Sioh was too nervous for that. The boy was just genuinely clueless. Plus it’s not everyday that you get refereed to as you fuck in such endearing tone. He wasn’t running away now (that would cost his head) but still had that adorable bug eyed expression. 

Damn, SIoh. You are in trouble now, aren’t you?

“Ten billions...?” Bora stutters, amazed with the boy’s feeble-minded answer. Her face doesn’t seem to decide on what emotion to wear as she remains stunned with a twitching expression. After a good few seconds in complete silence, her anger has risen to the ultimate level. She laughs, but you can tell she’s not amused. 

Her grip around his tie tightens as she pulls him closer to her. If this was an anime she would’ve lifted him off the ground by his shirt, a regular fantasy of hers. Letting her bizzare (and unfortunately ugly) laughing session end, she curls her lips in disgust as she stares the other straight in the eyes.

“Listen, punk. You just made yourself an enemy. I don’t care if you got the money for repairs, I fucking despise you.” She spits out the words and drags her left foot on the concrete like a furious bull ready to attack.

So, what was his argument? Did he have a good explanation besides I’m clumsy and your motorcycle looked really cool and I took some pictures? No. Was he gonna lie about it? No. Did he have a plan? No. “Look! What is that!” Sioh suddenly screamed pointing to the sky as a cartoonish distraction before trying to run to the other side.

Bora’s eyes widen with faked expectation as the poor boy tries to excuse himself. Blinking profusely while sending her eyebrows up and down in a confused and furious manner, she gestures with her hands dramatically to hurry up his explanation. She scans him up and down, she doubts someone like him would do such a thing on purpose, but that doesn’t make her hate him any less.

“Look! What is that!”

The distraction is a success as the long haired of the two narrows her gaze at the sky. “You gotta be kiddin’ me…” she murmurs behind her breath, turning around with an expression scarier than Lucifer himself. The humiliation from being tricked only makes her blood boil faster and her long athletic legs is soon right behind the other. Quick reflexes guides her to grab his tie, stopping him in the motion while nearly choking him.

“What the fuck is your problem?!” she exclaims, turning the boy against her with the help of his poor tie, “Do you have any idea how much money you owe me, you fuck?!”

Except, you know, the part where his coat got caught on some metal piece when he was about to walk away and the motorcycle was about to fall over. Sioh had to master all his Hulk-y strength not to let that happen and he sweated pinballs and roared and dug his feet into the ground to get the motorcycle standing up again like jesus holy cow that almost happened. 

“Fuck… That was clo–” He was trying to catch his breath and feel if his ribs were all in place when there it was. The headlight was cracked. “What–Fuck, oh no no no!” 

He was gonna die, wasn’t he?

Bora’s thick, furrowed brows and curled lips exists for the sole purpose of letting everyone know how insanely pissed she is. “Pissed” may even be described as her default mood, not exactly making a good rumor of herself. This particular day, however, she got the feeling the whole world is against her. She thought she had actually made a friend in science class, someone to laugh with during breaks and someone to share stories with. However, she was still the last one to be picked when the class was about to pick a partner. The betrayal and humiliation felt as injust as if her best friend went cheating on her partner and her teeth grinds just thinking about it.

Storming out of the classroom (for no apparent reason than being pissed as hell) she immediately turns her way towards the parking lot. There were only two ways for Bora to release anger; baseball and riding her bike. Leaving her bag behind in an empty locker, she slams the door shut before digging through her pockets for her bike keys. She leaves the building with her uniform still on and her keys tightly grasped in her right hand. 

However, what she’s about to see when she enters the lot is definitely not her idea of escapism.

“Are you fucking kidding me?!” She screams, yes, screams, as the cracked headlight is the first thing to reach her eyes. Frozen on the spot, heavy breaths escape her lips as she does her best to (not) remain calm. Furious eyes scan their surroundings before setting their gaze on the boy with the nerdy haircut.

It’s 7pm and Bora ties her hair into a tight ponytail. She spits out the now tasteless gum, burying it into the baseball field with her sneaker heel. At her old position in high school, the grass turned pale from the amount of gums buried into the ground. Wondering if the same phenomenom will happen at Sunhwa, she smirks bitterly at the grass below. 

Only wearing a thin bomber jacket in the chilly spring breeze accompanied by a pair of jogger jeans, she shoves the cold away with a shrug and picks up her timeworn Rawlings glove from the turf. Bora found herself more than often feeling claustrophobic, stuck inside the school building, surrounded by enemies (if one would be dramatic enough to use that word). After having a meal, or simply after skipping a meal, she’d often use the field as a method of escapism when it’s too late to go for a bike ride (or when she simply can’t afford the gas). 

It feels pretty useless, though, she must admit. It’s the same, same. She throws the ball, catches it. She throws the ball further and runs over to pick it up, It works. Throwing the ball as hard as she can works surprisingly well to release some steam and anyone could tell from her expression that she’s not exactly having fun throwing balls on her own.

you spot bora in a crisis/bora spots you in a crisis and one really couldnt care less but no one seems to do anything about it, so....
