inebriated,
kyungtak excuses himself, leaving the girl less than happy as he navigates around the extra bodies of the living room to find jackson somewhere in a corner by himself. he raises his eyebrows, taking a sip from his cup as he crashes on the sofa next to him. “what are you doing sitting around?” his tone of voice hints his genuine curiosity, but the grin on his features says he’s only teasing him. “are you having a hard time finding a girl?”
The whole idea of bringing Kyungtak to that party wasn't much of a plan. More like something he did on an impulse while texting the other, he would still be there in that party, but probably not slightly frustrated with the fact that—if he didn't want to do anything stupid, he would have to let the other lose himself in the crowd. Not that was much of a job—it was a party after all, and they easily got separated to do... whatever they wanted to do.
Jackson smiles at the few known faces he sees around, already used to attend this kind of parties once in a while, and slowly moves out of the kitchen with his glass (now full) in one hand. His eyes wander around the crowd and he easily finds Kyungtak's back on the other side of the room and, noticing he looks busy with some girl, he quickly looks away to find somewhere to sit down.
He's been around for the past hour, but he really feels like needing a break, sitting down on the sofa to enjoy his drink on his own before going back to socialize. Taking a sip from his glass, he feels a bit better with the burning sensation on his throat and barely notices when someone sits beside him. But the voice is clear and he now wonders how Kyungtak got to be so fast with that girl to be already there.
A laugh leaves his lips before he turns his face to look at the younger, doubting he is that curious about what he is doing. "Resting?" He moves his hands around, showing where he is and what he is holding like it was an obvious question.
"Of course not..." Jackson rolls his eyes—he didn't even really look for a girl that night. Not that it means he didn't get one, though, considering that a few had crossed his path and he obviously flirted back—because that's how he does. "I was gonna ask you the same thing, but I am sure you did find one, right?" He smirks, moving his head slightly towards the direction he saw the boy before sitting down. "Do you need help finding another?" And teasing back, he looks away, laughing amused and taking a small sip of his drink.
