“Lemon soju, tequila for me, mojito for you! Let’s go to Jeju, California, Rome!” The music pulsed through Min’s headphones as his long legs made wide strides down the dimly lit street. He had the urge some nights to take long walks, but unlike some people who supposedly enjoyed hearing the sounds of the night, whatever those were, Min enjoyed listening to music as he took his midnight strolls. Now, unlike other people who played their music blaringly loud, Min liked to keep his music low enough to hear conversations in passing. He often listened in on juicy gossip sometimes, and it was honestly harmless. At least, in his eyes it was. This was his neighborhood after all, he may as well know what was going around in it. One thing that he always was careful to avoid were students. He often saw some around the areas where he hung out, Kang Min always being on top of different trends, but made sure the reflective surfaces of his sunglasses were as indifferent as he. He hadn’t even recognized the figure that was waving at him from down the block, though it was in the middle of the night and was dark. As he got closer, he heard her calling a familiar title, “선생!” Surely, he had to know this student for her to recognize him from that far, but Kang Min’s beauty lit even the darkest of nights, so he wasn’t all that surprised. However, he had absolutely no intention of stopping to make small talk. The student looked surprised, calling out Min’s name as he power walked by her. Though he didn’t acknowledge her and would probably be approached about it the next day, he did allow her a calling over his shoulder as he passed her by, “I don’t know her.”
