How do you deal with burnout?

𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝘁

burnout happens when we're faced with too much stress, or we've overworked ourselves and whatnot! often it also means that we've fallen out of tune with ourselves as well, soooo.

i make time for myself. not just hey, i have a 15 min break inbetween this and this, so i'll use this time for me right now, but also intentionally setting periods of time for yourself.

i get to do the things i want to do! draw! paint! write! sing!

i surround myself with people whom i know will lift me back up. surround myself with good energy.

the energy you put into this world will come back to you!!! put in good energy, trust that it'll come right back!

i know that not a lot of us have the luxury of this because, face it – we're busy. take half an hour before bed for yourself, off your devices! focus on your breathing, and focus on you.

reevaluate your activity! what am i doing that is making me so exhausted? what can i change from here?

face the fact that i'm exhausted, and i need a break! when you're in the zone especially it sucks to hear this, but burnout is your body's way of telling you hey!! it's getting a little too much out here! just wholeheartedly smile and nod.
