I wish I would have taken the risk of going to school in New York. Instead, I chose to stay in Philadelphia. I don't regret anything. It's just nice to think sometimes how different it would have been. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. I've completed my first year of college and am now taking a year off. Sounds backwards, doesn't it? You'd think that taking a year off would be done after graduating high school not a year after already beginning your college career. I've seen that not all things go as planned. Shit happens, it is life. Loved ones get ill and you have to readjust to that reality. I'm 19 years old now (5 more months until I'm 20!) and am absolutely in love with life. Maybe sometime in the future, I will go to New York and live the dream that I once desired.
