Suo & Sakura FIGHT + my analysis (Official game)

The play's plot: Sakura discovers that his opponent is Suo, his childhood friend. Suo wants to bring Sakura back homeโeven if he has to use force on himโฆโฆ.
He used the same phrase he said in the KEEL arc, this is crazy.
"To take you back to the palace."
I believe he isn't trying to control Sakura or anything but it's about protection. He mentions the palace is a "safety" place since there is everything. Maybe he means outside path Sakura chose will be full of struggle and danger.
Perhaps when he was trying to convince Sakura, he meant something like: "If you stay, you won't suffer."
He says he's doing this for Sakura's sake so that means Suo is preventing him from getting hurt.
In the end, Suo respects Sakura's resolve. He understands Sakura won't be convinced by words: his original goal (protect Sakura) becomes unnecessary because he now understands Sakura doesn't need protection in that way, since forcing him back would betray what Sakura truly wants.
He went from "I'll protect you by bringing you back" to "I'll protect you by supporting your path". That's why he says: "What I want... is to support you."
I also think that Suo knows Sakura isn't weak. They grew up together, and he's seen his abilities firsthand. That's why he doesn't treat him like someone fragile during the fight. He trusts Sakura's strength but at the same time, he can't help but worries. He wants to see with his own eyes if Sakura is serious about his dream so he fought him to confirm it. When Sakura says things like: "I want to move forward with my own strength" and shows zero hesitation...
That's when Suo realizes: this isn't impulsive. Sakura fully knows/accepts his path. At that point, the "test" is over. And once he got his answer, he didnโt try to win anymore: he chose to stand beside him and supports him like he always did.
Suo was moved by Sakuraโs sincerity and itโs confirmed in the script (in part.4)

I found their fight in the play amazing, even if there were only sounds of their fight, I still loved it. Suo really cares about his childhood friend Sakura and wants the best for him (he doesnโt want him to get hurt) but knowing him for a long time, he knows deep inside his heart that he canโt convince Sakura to stay in the palace.
I love that Nirei is the one who wrote the script because he took after Suo and Sakuraโs feelings/personalities. Even Suo said to Nirei that the script was really good (I guess he meant that Nirei knows them too well lol)
I canโt wait to see their real fight in the manga but I know my heart will break ๐ Still, I believe that Suo will react the same way as in the play in some wayโฆ. Well, itโs just a thought!
