Yogi came to with a start and immediately began to regret his existence. First of all, he’s not even in a place he remotely recalls. In fact, he’s just literally laying in the middle of the sidewalk like a thrown away piece of trash.
Around him, the world began to wake up, people passing him like it’s just another normal day.
His head was pounding for whatever reason and his whole body in general was screaming in pain. The worse part was that he couldn’t even begin to fathom why.
At least Yogi thought that was the worse part until he actually took in his current state of being. His clothes were stained with wild patterns of blood. His hands were also stained with blood, his fingernails actually caked in it.
His usual sword he carried away was laying next to him as well, also sporting some familiar red spots.
“ I thought I told you not to call me that. “ Patience, Chuya. He sighed, waving the pen in his hand. Chuya could always do it himself – he had always filled out paperwork leagues better – but Yogi would never learn at this rate. “ I’ll climb up there and get you myself. “
Yogi looked down at the male from his perch on the tree. Earlier, the blond had climbed up the tree in hopes to get away from all his general duties and just maybe sleep for a day or two. However He should have known Chuya would have found him soon rather than later. “ChuChu,” Yogi started again, completely overlooking the fact that Chuya just said not to call him that. “Can’t I just have the day off?”
"Yogi, get down from there and fill out your paperwork."
Yogi jumped at the sudden voice of his Colonel, immediately getting nervous. “Uuuuh.” The last thing he wanted to was paperwork. Paperwork is always boring, never ends and smells like dusts and no fun. “But ChuChu-chan~” Yogi whined. “I don’t wanna.”
REASON WHY YOU THINK YOUR CHARA SHOULD BE A GENERAL:
Yogi is an interesting character. With his sunny hair, pretty face, and always present smile first impressions of him are not so high. He’s seen as just a dumb man; a pretty boy with nothing going on for him. Even though this may be true at times, Yogi is actually much more. People will look at him and think that yogi is weak, or at the best one of those overly excitable yellow faction peasants. That collective belief, is one of Yogi’s best weapon. No one expects much from Yogi. No one expects that this embodiment of sunshine is actually capable of bringing a man down to his knees. Instead people trust him, underestimate him, let their guard down around him, because what harm could this man do? And this is why Yogi can be the downfall of those around him. Because Yogi may be nice to those around him, he is loyal to his faction and he’s determined to see his people rise. He’ll flash a smile, play the role of the air head if it means his people will just be one step closer to being on the stop in this power struggle.
Most don’t know about Yogi’s special ability or at least what it can actually do, seeing as Yogi himself isn’t fully aware of what happens to him. While Yogi does have enhanced abilities in the daytime, it’s in the nighttime that his alter ego comes out. At night Yogi is the “Silver Beast” or the man with the wicked smile who howls at the moon. The Silver Beast is what people tell their children in order to strike fear in their hearts. If anyone is outside during the night, then it’s just a known fact that they won’t return in the morning. This side of Yogi gets all the dirty stuff done without any problems.
A SPEECH (EVERY GENERAL NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO RALLY SUPPORT.)
Yogi nervously looked down at the numerous faces below him. Honestly he doesn’t know just how he got up here. When he enrolled in the army, he never had the intention of being the general. Hell, he never even though he would get past just being a foot soldier. Even with his enhanced abilities, it’s not like there weren’t other stronger and better candidates around him. Yet here he is, looking into the eyes of the people he may have to lead from now on. How is he supposed to get these people to follow him? The Black Faction is known to be harsh, always indisposed towards anger, and never easily impressed. Yogi is the enigma of this. Already the people looked ready to revolt and Yogi hasn’t even said one word yet.
Damn
“Hello everyone.” Yogi cleared his throat, his hands tightening on the mic in his anxiety. “ M-my name is Yogi. I’m supposed to be up here and give you some sort of speech to show you just why I should lead you all.” He paused, smiling brightly at the people. “I’ve grown up in the Black Faction. I’ve fought for the Black Faction. I’ve killed for the Black Faction. There’s nothing I won’t do for my faction, for my people anymore. We are not the weakest, nor are we the strongest but in this power struggle we have a chance to finally be seen.”
As the hot sun above them got lower and lower in the sky, Yogi’s confidence grew and grew. He was determined. “We have been overlooked for too long. We have been called animals, criminals, undesirables all because of where we choose to live. We are better than that. We will get the respect we deserve. We will show those stuck up nerds that we are intelligent. We’ll show those high class jerks that we are not just trash beneath their feet. It’s time for us to rise up. If you’ll let me, I will lead us into a new era, where instead of everyone looking down on us, everyone will be breaking their necks to look up at us.”
Everything grew darker. The sun had finally set and the moon had took its place. On the stage, Yogi changed into a different man. As the night grew stronger, so did the beast that was inside of Yogi, finally taking over his body. His hair became silver and his once bright smile became more sinister. This new silver hair yogi looked upon the mass of people he was going to lead.
“I will personally tear down everyone who stands in our way. I won’t hesitate to bathe my hands in the blood of our enemies. This war may have many players, but only one will come out on top. IT WILL BE US.”
With that, Yogi tossed the mic to the side and spread his hands wide. “Join me my brothers and sisters. It’s time we for us to take our rightful place!” He tossed his head back and howled at the moon high in the sky, long and proud sounding more animal than man. Yogi the Silver Beast is going to lead his faction to victory.
