New editorial piece for #YomiuriNewspaper #読売新聞 about famously weird #elephant drawings by #ItoJakuchu #伊藤若冲, the #Japanese painter in Edo period. He is known for his extreme observation of a subject to draw and paint, but in his elephant drawings, he drew them from his memory. If you haven't seen his elephant drawings, please!
