As of a sudden realisation that I am still on this corner of the internet I have decided to utilise its performance as a media platform and once again post my reviews here which I have been parlaying elsewhere whilst working on all of my College Media endeavours such as a Music Video I have completed and a Star Wars Fans so anyone who would like to do an interview for that I am here! As for my reviews they will continue even though no one reads them anyway because leave me alone i’m looking for attention.
Fantastic Four (2015) Review
Yet again another reboot of the superhero team The Fantastic Four is upon us, in short its pretty shitty. OK so this is only going to be a short one because there is literally not much to talk about as the movie does not have much substance to it other than trying to sell the audience its future spin offs and sequels like another superhero movie in recent years *The Amazing Spider man* cough cough and hows that going for you Sony?
Firstly the CGI looks like something from a low budget indie film from the 90s as it all looks fake and laughable at moments. You can tell this was the superhero movie that wanted to be the next Dark Knight as it truly takes itself seriously but compares more to Batman and Robin featuring none other than Bat Nips. I have not seen a superhero movie as bad as this since well... The Amazing Spiderman 2. Doctor Doom is once again butchered as they completely miss his character and fuck the design up again somehow? I could not take the movie seriously at the point that he arrived but to be honest you could not even laugh because the script was so boring as virtually nothing happens its just exposition constantly, I had to tell myself to stay in the cinema TWICE because of how bored I became alas I sat hoping for either X-Men Apocalypse or Deadpool in the end credits but I waited in vain as there was no end credits to be seen... Which really pissed me off.
There is a scene in all of the promotional material which features the thing dropping into a location. This scene is not in the movie and the voice over from Reed Richards is mashed together in editing to make you believe what is happening, I am sorry but that is false advertising which leads me to believe that the creators actively knew this was a bile of dogshit but still let it fly.

Ant-Man Review
The last movie in Marvel’s “Phase 2″ is one of sheer brilliance. Honestly we are used to Marvel constantly producing masterpieces of cinema which are annually shunned at the Oscars, Ant-Man is no acceptation. Going into Ant-Man I felt conflicted between one of my favorite directors (Edgar Wright) and my favorite studio (Marvel). While I believe the movie would of hugely benefited of his presence the ideas that were implemented which set in motion his departure really benefited the movie as a whole in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the movie actually has an explanation of why we cannot just call up the Avengers to settle any independent conflict. Some things just require a little guy.
I saw this on the day of release in IMAX 3D and as usual the cinema was packed with fans of Marvel and I can tell you that if you have the chance to experience it in 3D it is definitely worth it as it adds another dimension when the background is blurred in the scenes where Ant-Man is in his element. Edgar Wright’s presence is definitely felt as the footage in Comic-Con last year is a good portrayal of what is in the movie and it is good that they gave him credit during the end credits as I would of brought it up as a complaint if not as he did make a huge contribution to the script.
So how well does it tie into the Marvel Cinematic Universe? The movie gives us just enough to be a part of the universe while keeping it toned down and giving reasons not to contact The Avengers which benefits the movie giving it a more contained feel in comparison to other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
So now lets compare the movie in the ranking to the other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. The movie does not come to the top of the list of stellar movies Marvel has produced over the years but that is to be expected, with so many big hits both in the box office and critically acclaimed it was a hard task for Ant-Man to beat some of these true juggernauts. I would say the movie lies between Thor and Captain America The First Avenger which is an achievement unto itself.
Michael Douglas gives one of the best performances in the movie as a whole leaving me demanding for a prequel with him to be made! Paul Rudd as Scott Lang was a perfect casting choice as he seems to play the part with ease giving one of the funniest performances since Tony Stark or Starlord. This movie I will say is one of the more funnier movies in Marvels lineup with Luis taking center stage for the majority of the comic relief. A standout would be the lip syncing scenes. Also the scenes where Scott is shrank down to the size of an Ant are truly beautiful to behold as I did not ever think “This is CGI” as I was truly immersed in the movie to notice otherwise. One scene for me which is the standout of the movie could possibly be one of the most emotional moments of cinema and all I will say is that it involved sugar cubes.
So lets get to some negative points. The villain of the movie was definitely lacking any motivation as he seems to be evil because evil is awesome? He does remind me of a poor mans Obadiah from Iron Man. Also the pacing of the movie is way off as we go from a very slow beginning to action scenes with no flow to them as I could not tell the shift between first, second and third act.

Jurassic World Review
Jurassic World is the much anticipated return to the world of Jurassic Park. First of lets recap on the previous installments in the franchise. Jurassic Park 1993 had a stellar cast with revolutionary special effects that changed the industry and can still even compete with blockbusters of today. The Lost World Jurassic Park takes a different approach to the first movie but essentially turns Dinosaurs into monsters and has an ending that does not fit with the movie, also completely destroyed the Raptors with the scene with the stupid kid who kicks one of them. Jurassic Park 3 DE-evolved the franchise into a classic monster movie whilst raping your childhood in the process as they managed to destroy the Raptors even more whilst also killing the beloved T-Rex.
As for Jurassic World, the movie brings back the magic of the original and I can happily say that this is the second best of the franchise beating out The Lost World Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 3. As for all of my reviews we will talk of the bad points and move onto the good.
First of something I did not like was the amount of cartoon characters that are present in the movie, I am talking of the military guy and the older brother who both act so stupid throughout with the military guy wanting to make Dinosaurs into weapons? Come on. The brother does not go to the same extent but when there is an emergency in the park he decides to go of course? Something else in the movie that was not of my pleasing was the overuse of CGI which was the great technical triumph of the original Jurassic Park which means the movie will not age as well as the first two Jurassic Park films.
Now for the good stuff. I loved seeing the park the way John Hammond imagined it as it just made me smile in the cinema whist the epic original score is playing as we swoop over the facility. The relationship with Chris Pratt and the Velocipedes is also very interesting to watch as it was not as I expected it with him having complete control but no these killing machines could take him down whenever they see fit. The Indominus-Rex was also a good villain as she felt threatening and provided quite a few scares that really took me by surprise and not to mention all those close up shots just packed with tension. One scene in particular when the Dimorphodon and Pteranodon begin the attack the main facility, this scene is intense with the standout being when the “Nanny” being killed as I just did not see such a brutal death occurring. Which brings me onto the Mosasoar which is just a sight to behold.
Lets move onto the scene with the Raptors chasing down the Indominus-Rex. The twist in this scene I also did not see coming and made me say out loud in the screening “Oh Shit” as we all know they haven't a chance with those Raptors. Chris Pratt also shows how acting skills in the movie and proves he was not just a one hit wonder with Guardians of The Galaxy, that scene with him riding with the Raptors is bad ass. I simply cannot do it justice. Bryce Dallas Howard also gives a good performance as I expected her character to be a cliche but she surprised me by being likable. Finally my favorite scene in the movie is where Claire opens the T-Rex paddock and you just see it, standing there with those eyes and you know shit is going down. The fight at the end is sheer brilliance with the T-Rex ultimately teaming up with the Velociraptor which was a big fuck you to Jurassic Park 3 which I loved.

Avengers: Age of Ultron Review
The Avengers have come together to re-assemble for the second time, but is this sequel as good as the first? Yes it is. A good sequel takes what it had and improves upon it in most aspects which is what has transpired here, with Josh Whedon at the helm the movie could not be in better hands as the director proves himself once again with a sheer stunning MCU phase ender.
Firstly this review WILL contain spoilers so look no further if you wish for none of them. The Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver and fine editions to the team with a very dark introduction to them both while being humorous at the same time, if thats possible. Of course I am speaking of the line from Captain America “Language” followed by Iron Man’s objection. Also there was the funny line from Quicksilver himself as he says “you did not see that coming?” showing the humorous side we saw from last years X-Men Days of Future Past. On the note of that movie I do prefer the Quicksilver from the fox rather than the new edition as it there was not much beyond what last years version presented with its slow mo scene topping this adaptation.
One thing which must be mentioned is Ultron himself as he is simply a force to be reckoned with as he simply cannot be killed as he will just download into a new body with even his disposable forms being hard to destroy. One of my enjoyable scenes with Ultron is where he is with Andy Serkis and cuts his arm of for being accused of being a product of Iron Man and then apologises! Ultron is a better villain than Loki in certain aspects as he does not have near the same character development as he is only in one instalment (so far) in comparison with Loki however, Ultron’s presence is felt more with the much larger scale of the movie as the team stagger from location to location battling the unstoppable force that is Ultron and his army of equal intensity.
The movie is definitely a lot darker than its predecessor with the mid section of the movie being a staple of this as we see most notably The Hulk take the brunt of it as he begins to descend into darkness at the hand of the Scarlett Witch whom takes the minds of the whole team just showing the power she possesses to which I am sure will be unleashed in future instalments. The end fight in the movie is sheer brilliance with the shots of all our avengers fighting in a long take is so gripping it cannot be done justice. Another character being introduced is Vision who was my most anticipated on my part as he gracefully floats around the sets with an Infinity Stone buried within his head. I do like that it was him to give the final blow to Ultron as he is sort of his son in a sense.
On a final note the end credits scene was just jaw dropping and in my opinion better than a Spiderman ending as we prepare to enter phase 3. Thanos is back BITCH!

Kingsman: The Secret Service Review
Kingsman: The Secret Service could be a contender to best movies of 2015. What a way to begin a cinematic year! This movie was great and me being in the United Kingdom have to fall to the mercy of staggered release dates as in the US Kingsman: The Secret Service is a 2014 release. As usual I am going to discuss the bad moments before the good.
Firstly this review will contain spoilers so if you do not want some aspects of the movie rewind for you please do not read this review. The scene in the training facility when the water fills the room and one of the team mates dies, I struggle to find how the rest of the team are safe as they could of easily died in there to but at the end of training we find that all of the tasks are actually safe.
The look and feel of Kingsman is very distinct which can be found in the action segments which is most notable when you hear the epic line which could be quote of the year "Are we going to stand here, or are we going to fight". Colin Firth is amazing as Galahad as he is easily the most likeable of the cast with his gentlemen persona. It was a complete shock and quite a big blow when he died but alas I have faith that he somehow survived as I really would love for him to return for the sequels.
However lets not forget there are some other stars in this movie as we have Taron Egerton as Eggsy who is also likeable towards the midpoint of the movie as I did not really feel a lot of sympathy for this character. However when he transforms into one of the Kingsman is was defiantly on board and that end credits scene is just awesome so make sure you see it.
Kingsman: The Secret Service has a stellar cast also with Samuel Jackson as he plays one of the rather more weird villains as I don't really understand his plan as it does not really go anywhere for him because if he kills all in the world then eventually the minute population he saves will ultimately become a large one anyway so is there point in the plan. I think not.
This movie was epic and possibly the greatest film in recent memory for me and is defiantly worth a second screening for me but I do not have long to wait anyway as it will soon be available on iTunes due to its staggered release date from america.

Top 10 Movies of all time
This is the big one, these movies are some of the ones I consider essential viewing at least once a year. Since some of the movies on this list are from a trilogy I am excluding trilogies from this list as they will get their own list along with prequels, spin off and sequels. Before I continue with the list I would like to state that this list is personal and personal to me so therefore it cannot be wrong because it is opinion, if you have a list of your own please feel free to share it with me. Just take into account I have not seen every movie ever created.
Number 10 - Wallace and Gromit A Grand Day Out
Wallace and Gromit A Grand Day Out is one of my favourite films because of its inspirational animation and just the general story and attention to detail that Nick Park went to to complete this short film. With the films detail coming in the form of Wallace's tray having tea stains on it to the buttons all flickering in the spaceship. There have been many different forms of media starring the pair but I feel the original is the best as it is the first of them I had ever saw and from then on I became hooked on Wallace and Gromit for life, even though Gromit does not speak you can tell exactly his thoughts and feelings throughout just with his stance and facial expressions thus it being a genius decisions for Nick Park to have him not speak.
It is very apparent that this film follows the fictional laws of cartoons as Wallace want to go to the moon because he has ran out of cheese for his crackers so he just builds his spaceship and him and his dog set off for the moon and are there in a few minutes. It adds a certain charm to the production and allows a lot of other things to take place thus the laws being set at the beginning of the production. Sure hope that 10p Wallace gave Cooker at the end lasts a while.
Number 9 - Sinister
This is the one movie that really scared me shitless, Sinister is an inventive and creepy horror movie of 2012 starring Ethan Hawk as your average writer whom stays in the houses of murder victims for inspiration in his next books, but when he accidentally puts himself into the murder spree cycle of the paigen diet Baghuul thinks get a little Sinister. The movie does have a few jump scares that I am not fond of whatsoever but does keep them short and sweet and quite far apart. The scenes that really got me where the ones with no sound like the video tapes when there is weird music playing as innocent people are slaughtered. These scenes are really disturbing and make for a great movie with a good premise.
Number 8 - Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2
I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter movies and books and this movie splits what is in my opinion the second best book and the best movie. Some books are split up into two because of other means that do not help the story but for financial reasons to try to squeeze out the money from people with no clue what a good movie is for example Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 & 2. Whereas Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 do this to benefit the story as you really feel like part 1 sets up the characters there motivations and then part 2 can just cut to the chance for an ultimate climax of the franchise.
This movie is the best in my opinion because we really see the transformation of Harry as he takes on the dark lord Voldemort as the whole school band together. The movie also takes Snape to a new level as we see his motivation throughout the whole saga come to a circle and you cannot say you did not feel emotion at the death of Snape.
Number 7 - The Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug
Being the best of The Hobbit trilogy The Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug sees the 13 Dwarfs Bilbo and Gandalf advance towards the mountain. Great scenery is presented in the movie as the company move throughout with some stand outs being Mirkwood, Beyorns house, Escaroth and Erebor. The performances are simply amazing in this movie with the stand out being the great Martin Freeman followed closely by Sir Ian Mckellen and Richard Armitage.
The world building in Peter Jacksons movies is just stunning to behold as this movie fits right in alongside An Unexpected Journey and The Battle of The Five Armies as it picks up as the previous ends and leaves off as the next begins making marathon viewings an experience to behold. The sheer visual creation that is Smaug is also just brilliant to watch voiced by the great Benedict Cumberbatch. Smaug is both threatening and cunning and makes for a great antagonist in this epic world of Middle Earth.
Number 6 - Jurassic Park
The original Jurassic Park film inspired a generation of films with its ground breaking CGI and great story. The concept of a park with dinosaurs is a brilliant one and for obvious reasons does not work out as the technology is just not ready for it. The movie also has some overarching themes that suggest this also in the form of nature always finds a way which is something the audience can take from the movie. We can also thank the movie for introducing the world to the .giff.
Number 5 - Inception
A lot of people on a first viewing do not really understand Inception but on a first viewing I surprisingly did and was baffled at how others did not. This is a great movie and as are other Nolan movies a sight to behold with its plot lines stunning locations and camera work Inception however. there isn't really much I can say about Inception without destroying the plot for future viewers so im going to say please for the love of god watch Inception.
Number 4 - The Silence of The Lambs
The silence of the lambs is a movie that really makes you want Anthony Hopkins to be in all movies ever with its really interesting premise and creepy antagonist in the form of Hannibal Lecter and Buffalo Bill. Both of them really making you feel and think in the shoes of Jodie Foster as she is confronted by this mental mastermind and later a complete lunatic with night vision and weapons.
Somehow in this movie you can rout for the main protagonist while also rooting for the infamous Hannibal. Being the best of the movies to have Hannibal in this movie shows how the new recruit can be thrown in with one of the best criminal minds as we see them both evolve throughout the production.
Number 3 - Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars Episode 5 is the best of all three Star Wars movies with a really interesting set of characters with the highlight being Harrison Ford's Han Solo. This movie stands the test of time with some of the best CGI to come out of movies over all time! With intricate designs to create the special effects and a distinct visual style. As we see Luke confront his father Darth Vader we see the two unfold as Vader teaches Luke in a form of fighting. Later on in the fight we see Vader beginning to loose control and striking Luke full force as we see him struggle for breath.
One of the scenes that really stands out to me is the scene where we see Vader without his mask on when one of the Admirals comes in, this shows that Vader is a human under the mask and a potentially damaged one at that.
Number 2 - The Lord of The Rings The Return of The King
The Return of The King is a great cinematic experience and has all of the climax of the previous films The Fellowship of The Ring and The Two Towers giving us the best in the middle earth saga, the beginning of the movie immediately sets the tone for the whole movie with Gollum coming to what he is. This opening tells us this movie will take the dark tone and turn it to 10, come on how can anyone say this scene is not creepy and disturbing giving Gollum an unmatched depth for just a supporting character. This is something common for near all the characters in this movie, we all know the aims and objectives of all the fellowship and people whom are associated with it. The Lord of The Rings The Return of The King is an experience to withhold with its never before seen world building and impressive direction from the amazing Peter Jackson and J.R.R Tolkein.
Whiteness the end of this amazing story as we learn about friendship and all bonds of fellowship as we watch Sam and Frodo take on impossible odds to get through Mordor and defeat Sauron by destroying the one ring to rule them all.
Number 1 - The Shawshank Redemption
This is the one movie that I can watch over and over and still find new things with each viewing. The Shawshank Redemption is a brilliant masterpiece of film making starring the great Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman in some of the most iconic roles of our time. The film really makes you doubt your trust in Andy and the twist that is to good to reveal at the end really took me by surprise on a first viewing.
The score to the film also leaves a lasting impression as it is both dark and memorable. Showing that any hard times can be overcome if you stick together and retain music within your skull. The locations in the film are also stunning and impressive with the stand out being the outside of Shawshank itself. To anyone who has not seen this film I give you the utmost urgency to fulfil your life and become rehabilitated after watching this truly stunning experience of a film.

Big Hero 6 Review
Welcome to the age of awesome. Big Hero 6 is a really likeable movie with some stunning scenery and really developed and likeable characters and that Stan Lee cameo is just great. As usual I am going to talk of the bad aspect before the good.
Firstly, I don't like the way Tadashi dies. Let me elaborate, when the two brothers are outside of the burning building Tadashi attempts to save the life of the professor and in the process is killed by the fire, this was a heartfelt moment but I felt problem with that fact that as soon as Tadashi enters the building it blows up? I mean good timing for the building to blow up like that I mean couldn't we get a final moment with him as he dies a few seconds after or so?
OK so that was all I found fault in this movie, short list right? I loved this movie. The best character in the movie by far is Baymax as he is the emotional core of the movie and is easily the most likeable of the group. His stand out moment for me was the scene of him Hiro and the others as they hug him for warmth. Baymax also gets a lot of character growth thought the movie as we see him learn as he is taught by Hiro which makes the ending all the more sad as it nearly had me in tears. He is just so funny to watch as he waddles around the set knocking over furniture in his efforts to aid Hiro and thus causing chaos in the process, most notably when he is locating one of the items stolen by the professor.
Lets talk of the main character of the movie that is Hiro. Hiro is not as good as Baymax but is good in his own right, I mean this as you really feel his struggle as he comes to terms with the departure of his brother. He is the surrogate for the audience of emotion as we feel generally what he feels throughout of the movie, for example; when he is forced to leave Baymax at the end of the film we know he does not want to go, we no there is no other way and it is the only choice.
In the middle of all of this we have some other characters whom are not really developed enough to talk about in full but I will give a brief overview of them. There powers are interesting and I think in the inevitable sequel they should be expanded upon. They are fun and do help to advance the plot along however, there lack of screen time or development means more BAYMAX! So its not all bad.
In summary Big Hero 6 is a good movie sure its not Lord of The Rings or The Avengers so it did not need to impress audiences with overarching themes or dark tones, it is a simple fun movie and a movie that made me laugh out loud which is something no movie has made me do for a long time.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you were also meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought.
