Do you ever think about how Claude was secretly happy about Athanasia's favour, asking him for a painting of them together? But what he didn't know was that Athanasia had it done because she was secretly afraid to lose him now that Jennette appeared in their lives? That, after everything, Athanasia had it made so she could say, deep in her heart, that there was a time they were happy as a family and Claude loved her.

Do you ever think about him checking on the painting & seeing himself smile? Like, he APPROVED IT. He approved it knowing this was going to be in the royal family's wall for generations. He didn't have anything changed in the painting after making sure it was the best for his daughter. It only mattered that Athanasia saw the painting and liked it.

Do you ever think about how, based on his reaction after he had amnesia, he hardly—if ever—had his portrait painted? The only one we ever saw was his painting in the Book of Conquest, when he was crowned emperor. That was it!! He never had one made until Athanasia requested it!

Do you ever think about how he placed preservation spells on Athanasia's drawings when she was a kid, so he probably had one stronger placed on their commisioned family portrait?

This was their first family portrait. He was okay having others know he loved and favoured Athy. 😭

He was happy!

And when he gets his amnesia cured, he has to live his life knowing he missed on his daughter's growth. TWICE! He never saw her first steps, never heard her first word, never comforted her from when she first fell and scraped her knee, never saw her realize she had magic like her dad, never was the first one to teach her how to handle her magic, never went with her on her first outing outside the palace, etc.

But, in a way, he has to live his life knowing he was the first person to ever hurt her...

Repeatedly.

Aside from the lone wolf vs gentle charisma round 3 battle. We see that athy mana fluctuated and she remembered her first meeting with ijekiel

I was wondering about this too, the only thing she always mentions is that kiel is always there to comfort jeanette but then spoon gives us this

He was inlove with LP athy too??? Heck this is news to me! So no matter the timeline he still falls for lady angel

Which brings me to ask an important question: Was kiel ever affected by jeanette's black magic in this timeline and the previous one? It doesnt look like it to me, is he immune or something???

Of course, her remembering got lucas worried. Its so sweet of him to tell her not to give up and he will help her

i really like this particular napping time scene in wmmap because:

1. the fact that claude asked athy to sing him a lullaby to chase bad dreams away i mean thats pretty cute also i guess claude often has nightmares related to diana (from what i’ve seen in chapter 50)

2. claude threatened athy when she said she forgot the song, i found this very funny for some reasons lmao (bro chill shes a kid)

3. felix’s story about his mom :( he’s really the best boy we gotta appreciate him

4. the fact that claude heard athy when she said she was lying about not wanting to see her mom and as long as she has claude shes happy ALSO her wish for claude to like her lots (although her true objective is to flee from the death flag) i think thats when claude’s heart softened for her?????? (but perhaps at first place he has alr like her because that spitting image of diana on athy)

5. like maybe after he heard that, he showed his memories of diana to her when she’s sleeping and gosh thats the most precious thing ever???? i want to cry everytime claude shows his memories of diana to athy like i know he loves them both (i cry look at their hands theyre holding hands my parents i love them GOSH i need to see a spin off about their relationship)

6. claude stopped talking when athy moved because of the noise he made and touching her hair for to shoe her his memories of diana again double tears I MEAN LOOK AT HER SMILE WHEN SHE HAS THAT DREAM THATS THE CUTEST THING EVER
