Closing the manga, you lay on your bed and try to collect your thoughts. You don’t stop the tears from flowing, so you decide to just let them flow. All of the memories you made with these wonderful characters made your heart ache. You can’t believe it’s over. You can’t believe that this is it.
You hear your voice being called and you lift your head up from your pillow to see Eren, Armin and Mikasa standing in front of your bed. You’re shocked, yes, but you’re so happy.
Eren says and holds his arms out. You don’t think so you just leap into his arms and soon enough, Mikasa and Armin join in too. Then more and more arms surround you and you cry into Eren’s chest.
“Thank you. Thank you for everything. I’ll miss you so much.” You whisper and Eren caresses your hair. “No, Y/n. Thank you. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your life. But I’m afraid, that this is the end of the journey for us.”
He pulls away from you and wipes your tears away. One by one started to disappear and you waved goodbye to all of them.
“Yo! Don’t forget about us, alright?!” Connie yells out and you laugh. “Yeah! And eat some good food while you’re at it!” Sasha waves.
“Don’t forget to sleep, brat.” Levi says and turns around. “AND FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS Y/N! WE’LL BE WATCHING OVER YOU!” Hange exclaims and gets her hair pulled by Levi.
“And don’t forget,” Armin holds your hand to your chest, “whenever you feel alone, close your eyes and think of us. We will always be there for you.” He whispers and finally disappears too.
You spring up from bed and look around to see if you can find them again. Looking at the time, it’s early in the morning. Great. Back to real life.
But little did you know, all of them watched you from the birds.
