the glumbo forums are a sort of "posting event". for 2 beautiful weeks, log on and participate in some kind of playing-pretend.
the best way to participate is to don a forum persona (or several)!! here are some example users to get u thinking:
post like youre some kind of late 2000s forum archtype.
post like youre yourself but weirder.
post like youre a 67yo guy from montreal.
post like youre a diehard 13yo northernlion kinnie.
post like youre an ipad baby on the loose.
for this year's forum period, we've added a large assortment of Collectable Buttons.
no one will know the exact requirements to earn any given button. you can acrew them at random like youre stepping on landmines, or you can sleuth it out based on the badge title/image/description.
many buttons will have some kind of.. effect on the forum threads you post in after acquiring them. many will stack with eachother. eventually, over the 2 week period, the badge effects will make a real clusterfuck of all the threads, and this is smiles grins.
if you have collected the most badges by jan 3rd maybe youll get a high five or something
