-The first one is Leon keeping Sherry safe as they try and find their way through the labs to meet up with Claire -The second pic is the first time Leon picks up Sherry after she almost nearly got snagged by a zombie. Leon cannot put her down after that unless he's knows they're safe, his instincts literally won't let him.

It's okay though, Sherry doesn't mind at all since she feels safe when she's around Leon. ( ALL Little kids love good monsters who beat up bad monsters)

The first time Leon goes feral in this AU is shortly after curing Sherry, Birkin attacks them again, before they can board the train, and Leon, who pissed off beyond belief, throws hands with the G-Monster. Leon doesn't defeat him, but manages to fend off Birkin and injury him pretty good, until their final confrontation on the train.

Not every mission is a shit-fest, and the trip the crew took to Arizona for military checkup was one such occasion. While everyone else was hot and miserable, Leon was THRIVING. My man has not felt this good since he's first mutated, and his sheer enjoyment of the weather is kinda infectious, almost.

When they leave, they practically have to drag Leon back onto the plane as he whines for a transfer, causing Jill to roll her eyes, but smile.

More biblically accurate Verdugo Leon!

@quasar-crew was saying how Leon would probably not be able to talk like this, and I have to agree. That mouth is not made to make any human sounds.

BUT that certainly won't stop Luis and Ashley from trying to pick up the basics of bug language. I can see them asking Leon to sound out the words for yes and no multiple times, memorizing the alien noise until they're automatically recognizable.

Leon doesn't think this is going to work and honestly, he thinks it would be better if he kept his mouth shut, considering the nightmarish noises he's now making.

But he's stunned to see that only after a few hours, Luis and Ashley's idea is... working?

It actually catches him off guard when they start responding to him correctly and suddenly Leon's trying, very, very hard not to cry. He didn't know how BADLY he needed this, this small sense of normalcy of just having a simple conversation with someone.

((Of course over time Luis and Ashley will learn more words, in fact I can see them both asking Leon to teach them swear words and names, much to his amusement.))

Some more Devil Leon!

After Devil Triggering for the first time, Leon insists Luis look him over. If he's not infected by the Plaga, than it could be something even worse, and Leon wants to make sure he's not going to infect or hurt anyone like this.

Luis does his best, and after examining Leon, he assures the other man that whatever this is, it's not a viral disease or an animalistic parasite. If anything, Luis muses, as he looks at the sparks of lightning and ice emanating from Leon's horns, this might be supernatural in nature.

Leon scoffs at the idea, but Luis points out that Leon had literally created giant pillars of ice and destroyed them into millions of razor sharp pieces with blue bolts of lightning minutes before, something obviously beyond the scope of a mutagenic virus.

And the bottom doodle is Leon being shy about his lack of clothing while Devil Triggered. Sorry Leon those are the rules of DMC! At least his clothes come back when the transformation is over, but for now he's gonna have to just get used to it!

More Devil Leon doodles.

The one of the left is him being bummed about how about how short his fights now are. Demons LOVE to fight, so Leon has started to develop a thrill for battle, but he's so strong now that nothing is a challenge for him anymore.

It's frustrating because he knows he SHOULD be happy now that his fights are over so quickly, it means there are less chances for people to get hurt, yet he STILL can't help but feel disappointed every time it happens.

THEN THE DOODLE ON THE RIGHT- Leon got his demonic powers from a parasitic demon, meaning it's main source of food was blood. That ALSO means that if Leon exhaust's his powers he can drink some human blood to replenish his energy.

The first time he Devil Triggered this happened. Leon couldn't figure out how to deactivate his transformation, so he only returned to normal after he ran out of energy. Of course that meant he was friggin exhausted and delirious after, and so instinctively grabbed Luis and started to lick the blood weeping from his shoulder wound.

Immediately both Luis and Ashley are like, (⚆ᗝ⚆) and poor Leon a minute later is also like, ╭( ๐_๐)╮ OH MY GOD WHY DID I DO THAT?! I AM SO SORRY! Luis of course tells Leon it's fine, he didn't hurt him, but everyone also notices that Leon is acting less groggy now. So Luis offers to be Leon's blood bank and laughs when he sees Leon's pale face erupt into bright crimson before snapping, that won't be necessary!

I go so feral over the mere glimpse of the zombie Leon au it’s not funny.

Is zombie Leon cured a lot later now than in the original au? Since Elpis is a thing in lore? Does he get raccoon city syndrome?

Unfortunately for zombie Leon, the existence of Elpis mean he's gonna have to rough it and live as a zombie for nearly 28 YEARS before he's cured. Because of that fact I don't have the heart to mutate the man any further. So NO, he doesn't suffer any symptons of Raccoon City syndrome.

((Honestly my man has been through enough, resisting the urge to eat human flesh for 28 YEARS along with constant pain of hunger is torture enough.))

After being cured he would also have to live with someone, probably Chris or Sherry, as he needs constant reminders to eat and take proper care of himself. Speech therapy would be thing too, he's used to only being able to make zombie moans and growls, so he's gonna need to relearn how to talk.

Basically my poor man has to Relearn how to be human again and that is gonna take while.

Devil Leon AU

When Leon wakes up after passing out in the boat in the middle of the lake, he notices that something is off immediately. His hearing had been amplified as he was able to easily pick out the sounds of fluttering leaves and chirping crickets from across the distance shore. His sense of smell was also cranked to the max, and he couldn't help but gag as the rotten smell of Del Lago began to clot inside his nose.

Confused and slightly irritated, Leon simply waves off his new enhanced senses and continues looking for Ashley, but things just keep getting weirder.

No matter how much he runs, he's not getting the least bit tired, in fact he feels REALLY energetic, like he had an endless supply of energy he desperately needs to burn off. He eventually encounters some Ganados and instead of the usual feelings of fear and panic, he instead feels EXCITED.

He dives into the fight without any hesitation, kicking and shooting harder and faster than he's ever done in his life. He can't stop the feral grin the stretches across his face when he sees more Ganados pour into the fray, not caring that he just used the last of his bullets and only has his knife left to depend on. He just simply starts snapping necks and tearing flesh, not noticing the sparks of lightning that are arching off his arms, or the clouds of frost ghosting over his lips

It's not until when the last of his villager falls dead does Leon realize that something is very, very wrong with him. He looks down at the bodies around him before glancing down at his now transformed clawed hands, his fingers tingling as blue sparks flared between them. There are also black scales speckled across his arms like moles, and his teeth felt sharp and jagged like a shark.

What the hell was happening to him?

Okay, you said Godzilla exists in this AU. What's the G-Man's reaction to this chaos? I'd imagine depending on the version it's either be anger, indifference, pity/sympathy, or happy (since he'd technically get another member of his species to hang out with)

So in the AU, everyone thinks Godzilla is just a silly movie monster and has zero knowledge that Godzilla is actually real and has just been kept secret by the government this whole time.

No one has seen Godzilla except for classified low exploration dives into the deep ocean, where camera's and sonar have caught brief glimpses of the monster's existence. There, Godzilla has dwelled for thousands of years, only surfacing once or twice during that entire duration of time.

This all changes of course, considering Leon's circumstances.

When Leon is when bored, he will sometimes take a swim across the ocean currents. It's one of the few places he can go without worrying about damaging anything as a giant monster, so he'll just chill out and explores the waters for a bit. Of course he has no idea what a racket he's making when he's swimming about and it catches Godzilla's attention, who surfaces to see what's going on.

Leon of course is terrified when the encounter happens because HOLY SHIT GODZILLA IS REAL AND GINORMOUS, while Godzilla is just like......who's baby is this?

All Leon can do is just watch and endure as Godzilla looks him over, obviously curious about him before it makes some kind of judgment. Suddenly the giant beast starts nudging Leon towards the sea, prompting him to follow it back deep into the ocean with a gentle rumble.

It takes Leon a second to realize what's happening.

Godzilla was trying to adopt him.

((Leon politely declines the invitation to join Godzilla, who respects his choice but is determined to keep an eye on the tiny baby from now on. Lucky him.))

Leonzilla AU

Sherry is Leonzilla's biggest fan, much to his bewilderment.

She gets ALL THE MERCH. Shirts, plushies, toys, hats, backpacks, LITERALLY ANYTHING that's got her lizard dad emblazoned upon it, she'll buy it!

Leonzilla AU

So Godzilla has been quietly watching Leonzilla from a distance, respecting his decision to remain alone but there's only one slight problem, Leon is terrible at being a Kaiju. Godzilla's patience quickly wears thin and one day Leon's horrible mannerisms finally become too much to even witness, and Godzilla is like, OKAY I GOTTA FIX THIS. (ಠ_ಠ )

So poor Leon finds himself being taken under Godzilla's tutelage and is now being forced to learn 'Godzilla 101: How to swim, hunt, breath lazer beams, fight, roar etc...!

Leon REALLY doesn't want to do this, but when a 400 foot tall indestructible Kaiju prompts you to do a proper roar, you don't tell it to F-ck off, instead you roar you're little heart out until all you can make is just pathetic little raspy barks.

Godzilla will only let Leon go home unless he improves slightly during the session, and when Leon comes back and explains what's happening to the rest of the group, everyone agrees that he should just indulge Godzilla and endure these lessons, after all, we don't want to piss off the GIANT LIZARD MONSTER.

SO Leon comes back from one 'training session' and everyone is like, "Oh how did it go?" And Leon just grimaces and says "I had to hunt a whale-" And then slumps his head against the table "-And then apparently we couldn't leave until I ate at LEAST half of it!" Claire starts cackling, while Chris can't help but ask how it tasted and Leon thinks about for a moment and answers. "Honestly…it was better than whatever shit they served us in the mess hall the other day."

Devil Leon

If there is one benefit to becoming part demon, it would be that it made his job suck WAY less ass, if Leon was going be honest. No longer did he dread receiving a call in the middle of the night, but instead found himself waiting impatiently by his phone, drumming his fingers against his thigh as demonic energy bubbled underneath his skin.

He needed to get rid of this excess energy and fighting super powered Bio-weapons was the best way to accomplish that. A simple, friendly spar was not going to cut it. If the mission was slightly challenging, he might be even able to relax at least two weeks before the energy would surge within him again.

He even gives specialized phones to Claire, Chris, Sherry, and Jill, telling them if they ever need help, to call him IMMEDIATELY and he can find them by following the tracker on their device.

Chris was the hardest to convince, simply giving Leon this weird look when Leon tells him he can call him for ANYTHING, even if he needs to kill one measly zombie. Chris thinks Leon is taking on this heavy burden because he has powers now and has to protect everyone, which is partially true, but also not the whole truth.

And Leon just let's out this frustrated growl when Chris says he can carry some of Leon's burdens and fight too, and Leon is just like "Listen. I appreciate you trying to be noble and help me out, but honestly? I need to let loose! And this is the safest way for me to do it! Just promise me if shit hits the fan, CALL ME."

So later during Re5, Chris looks down at the phone and at the rapidly deteriorating situation around him, and finally calls Leon. "I'll be there in 10 minutes." Is Leon's quick response before hanging up, and sure enough, ten minutes later the sound of thunder roars over the echo of gunfire.

The infected hostiles that had them surround were now all suddenly encased in giant crystals of ice. Leon was standing in the middle of the chaos, appearing almost out of thin air, transformed and grinning ear from ear. "Sorry if I'm late, North Carolina traffic was bitch!"

He then lifts his arm up, electricity crackling loudly as it swells around him, and then snaps his fingers. The lighting coiled around his body arcs out, striking all the pillars of ice at once, and shatters them into millions of fluttering, twinkling shards.

After the display Sheeva immediately starts smacking Chris's shoulder, angrily yelling "WE HAD THIS MAN ON SPEED-DIAL AND YOU ONLY CALLED HIM NOW?!?!"

((Leon has super speed and literally ran across the ocean from North Carolina all the way to Africa. He does this by freezing the water as he runs across it. THIS MAN IS SO OVERPOWERED NOW IT'S CRAZY))

InfectionRE AU/ Everyoneisabug AU AU

While standing on two legs, Leon is about as fast as a regular human (23mph) HOWEVER if he runs on all fours, he's as fast as a greyhound (45mph) especially if he's got a enough flat, even ground to accelerate.

This is something he found out on his own and mostly because of Rucio after he started jogging around the base in the morning for exercise. Leon LOVES to go fast, it's one of the reasons why he loves motorcycles so much. Rucio is also a fan of going fast, so when Leon's starts running, Rucio eggs him on to go faster, faster, faster!

Leon's confused at first because he's going as fast as he can, but Rucio insists they can go A LOT faster, and a memory of their time in Salazar's castle flashes unprompted in his mind. It was when had pursued the Verdugo after it had taken Ashley and Luis hostage, he didn't realize until after, but he had chased it down on all fours like some kind of animal.

The thought of voluntarily dropping to the ground like a dog was not appealing in the least, but he did remember he had been going pretty fast back then...so he takes a look around, making sure NO ONE is watching and tries it.

It's a little awkward at first but soon enough he gets a hang of it and they're off like a shot. Needless to say the both of them have a blast and Leon gets to experience his speedy adrenaline rush like never before.

((Leon never shows off this ability much around others, considering this style of running is very animalistic and inhuman looking. But there has been one occasion where he displayed this ability in both the InfectionAU and Everyoneisabug AU AU, and that is when they held a race with everyone on the base.))

((It's one of those RARE days where Leon does not give shit how he looks, he just wants to win dammit! (and so does Rucio). So he gets down on all fours, ignoring the glances of both confusion and curiosity from the people around him, and as soon as the signal is given, HE IS GONE.))

((Leon wins easily, and is even surprised to see that no one is looking at him weirdly, in fact everyone seems to be excited instead. Chris and Luis especially, considering they were now trying to find a speedometer so they could see and record how fast he was now.))
