Man there's a detail I think people are missing when it comes down to the new AQ relating to Wanderer and his past as Scaramouche.
Dottore didn't keep that shit to himself. He told Pantalone.
At least one currently living Harbinger is aware of Scaramouche's existence to a somewhat detailed extent, at the bare minimum.
That means we're not done with Wanderer. This AQ sure felt like a finale for him, and in a way, it was! He got to face off with his main abuser and came out on top. But the game is hinting over and over that the concept of "Scaramouche" isn't dead in the water, and Dottore confirms that it is theoretically possible to even reinstate Scaramouche into the world memory (he just personally refused to do so because he wants to hurt Wanderer as much as he physically and mentally and emotionally can)
Is it difficult? Sure. But that tells me, especially with the Aaru replacing Irminsul (and Nahida saying it has less restrictions iirc) and Pantalone being aware of Scaramouche's existence via Dottore's meddling, that there is a significant chance that Scaramouche will be reintroduced into the world memory. It's a Chekhov's Gun situation--this feels like they're setting up a plot for later.
