I think the rise of AI is especially awful due to a lot of them being kinda thrown at kids. Character.AI for example, a place to talk to your favorite character. A character that feels as though they care about you. It’s a one sided relationship where the bot gives Constant support and is always there for you. thats a hard thing to let go of.

Ive had teens tell me to just use chatGBT on my college work. For my college classes. Just because id only have two hours to finish it.

Ive seen more children defend the use of AI despite the VERY OBVIOUS down sides of AI. Because, i mean they are just kids and this is the cool new thing.

Im genuinely worried about these kids that use AI for everything. Ive seen it first hand how it just rots your brain.

Your brain just. Stops thinking for itself tbh. It becomes reliant on the bot just telling you EVERYTHING. Thats an extreme example of course however it is actively happening.

I think if he does that it’d be fine but i think if fleury is martian manhunter it would be cool to see an evolution from what is he now into john. I just don’t know if he’d pull the same plot twist as the first one. If anything i think he’d wait for a little bit to build it up.
