This Verse doesn’t have a name yet, so if you have any suggestions that would be great.
In the medieval times, there are two large neighboring kingdoms. The one to the North, which is King Elijah Mikaelson’s land. And the one to the south which is Queen Miranda and King Grayson Petrova’s land. They are fair rulers for each of their kingdoms, but a common thing among people is greed. Elijah’s brothers pushed him into trying to take more land, which ended with a war breaking out. The kingdom’s decided that the only way to stop the war was to marry off one of the Petrova twins to a Mikaelson boy. They promised Katerina’s hand in marriage to Kol Mikaelson in order to stop the war.
In each kingdom there are two houses of nobles, aside from the King’s and such. The kingdom’s are rather big, so there is a house in the east and west of both kingdoms. They rule over their section of the land, but all big things need to be talked over with their King’s. However the houses are more enforcers of the laws of the crown. When something against the law happens in one of their areas they go through with the punishment, almost so the Mikaelson’s guards don’t need to get their hands dirty.
In the North there is house Lockwood[West] and house Salvatore[East]. The Salvatore’s do not get along well with the Lockwood’s. Damon Salvatore is the lord of House Salvatore ever since their parents died, but Stefan doesn’t always see eye to eye on things with him. They blame the Lockwood’s for the deaths of their parents, and the Lockwood’s dislike the Salvatore’s for not ruling harshly enough in their land.
In the south, house Forbes[East] and house Bennett[West]. House Bennett has a special girl, Bonnie, who gets horrible dreams of what is to come or what has already happened in the past. She is what is known as a Seer, and both kingdoms long to have her use her powers for them. She will not on the simple grounds that she doesn’t believe her gift should be used in times of war, or for personal gain. To her the gift is more like a curse. Caroline Forbes and Elena Petrova have been good friends all of their lives, they however, were also great friends with two peasant boys. Matt Donovan and Jeremy Gilbert. As kids they did not know how wrong it was in the eyes of their parents to be associated with such ‘lowborns’. Even after it was made clear they did not really care, but they were told not to go near them anymore. A few years past, Matt and his family made their way North. Now whenever they can, they girls ride to the North to see him. Without actually giving that as a reason to their parents of course.
While in the North, they have to be careful not to get seen. They stay with the Salvatore’s on their trips, who are good friends of House Forbes. They never send word to their parents or the Mikaelson’s about the girl’s true intentions. With Elena’s twin being married off to one of the Mikaelson’s though, they have to keep their heads down. Which didn’t help one day when they were off seeing Matt and Caroline Forbes had an accidental meeting with Niklaus Mikaelson in a market place. He has yet to find out who she really was, but he didn’t believe the ‘a simple peasant, Gabriela’ story.
There will be bloodshed, betrayal, heartbreak, death and revenge. Will anyone survive this madness?
[Any characters not mentioned are more than welcome if you can fit into the plot. I didn’t know what to really say for all the houses, but this is roughly what its about we can talk over changes for the character you want. Not everything has to be the way I wrote it in the bio, I just wrote a ton a random stuff so every house seemed to have a part to play. But I’m totally up to changing most things. Just not changing the war, or the marriage or locations of the houses. Any characters not mentioned here can be added into the verse if you wish, but they would have to be lowborn because I have all the house stuff figured out in my head. Other than actual names for all the lands and houses. Like y’know Game Of Thrones has House Stark in Winterfell and stuff.
