Watching Desperate Housewives on hulu and I did a double take when I saw this. Season 1 of both shows aired at the same time, I believe. This scene is so burned into my brain that I recognized it from Kate’s initial running in the mud.

I love this moment so much, despite the tragedy that soon follows. When the sub explodes, Kate–who’s unconscious at first–falls under the water, and Jack’s first thought is to save her. His first thought is ALWAYS Kate’s safety. And this is one of the many reasons they are the OTP of my life.
