 Matthew shoved his hand on his nose for quick protection, feeling the rush of something flying past it, it could have been a bird, or a really, really, really quiet bullet that only wants to be loved.

  “ Hey, the fuck?!”

  The man shouted into the air for some reason, not sure if there were any bandits of some kind, or even just Kenny fucking around again. He slowly brought his hand back down, no longer covering his fragile nose that almost got injured by that enigma, he looked around in a full circle, not seeing anything whatsoever—he began walking on the trail again. It didn’t seem to matter much someone was trying to hurt little nosey, as he’s already been there, done that, but with lots of other parts not just the tissue department.

  Once more, an object flew toward him, this time it actually bounced off his cheek as another flew at his shoulder lightly and stayed there due to wrinkles in his shirt—realizing it had not hurt, he looked toward the general area it was all falling from, and saw nothing but trees.

  Matthew picked up the small “bullet” off his shoulder, all it was was an acorn, supposedly by asshole squirrels.
