the moment lovro wouldn’t stop checking on ivan’s knee we knew he’d be the most caring, gentle person in the world with him but actually witnessing it… yeah that might’ve sent me to tears
i find it kinda funny when people say “how can they even like each other, they barely spend time together and they’re always fighting.” like… we only see the parts of their lives that matter for the story. they obviously spend way more time together off screen than what we’re shown.
sure, they could have given us more soft or happy scenes, but that’s not really the point of the plot. the story focused on the things they actually had to work through first. like insecurities, anxiety, internalized homophobia, mental health issues and all of that. they had to deal with those things before we could realistically get those softer moments. it has to make sense for the characters and the story.
and also, just saying, in my first queer relationship we were officially together after three dates. like it’s queer dating? it can move really fast lol.
Just realize that there's already human shape gap among the drawings. does that mean Ivan was also lying there in the same position as lovro? Or just a shooting mishap?
I think it’s a really beautiful choice to have both Lovro and Ivan begin the season without a complete understanding of themselves—Lovro in terms of being gay, and Ivan in terms of his bipolar diagnosis—and then give them parallel journeys toward understanding both themselves and each other. Neither realization is literally caused by the other person, but their meeting coincides with, and perhaps deepens, revelations that were likely already beginning to surface for both of them.
In case anyone needs to remember how much Lovro cares for Ivan:
1. Was instantly mesmerized after seeing him for the first time time
2. Immediately dreamed abt him after talking to him once
3. Woke up looking for him after said dream
4. Can’t focus on any conversation when he is in the vicinity in favor of admiring him
5. Agreed to go to his house even though they barely knew each other and ate the weird concoction he made just bc he said so
6. Bought a vinyl of the artist he likes to daydream abt him while listening to it
7. Followed him around the school and acted coy after getting discovered
8. Stayed behind during the group affair to make a christmas tree outside with him
9. Showed constant worry abt a knee injury he mentioned once
10. Agreed to go on a double date just to see him
11. Left said double date to be just with him
12. Was all smiles and laughter after being dragged fully clothed into the pool in the freezing cold by him
13. Waited over one hour (not once, not twice but THREE TIMES - maybe four actually?) to see him
14. Asked if he would leave his girlfriend to be with him
15. Found a safe space imagining to be underwater with him
16. Immediately followed him after getting a text to meet
17. Gave him a peck even though was so scared to be seen
18. Came out multiple times admitting to be seeing him specifically
19. Immediately left his friends to be with him
20. The whole of 11:15
21. Showing worry for his lack of sleep
22. Being the only one to notice something was wrong at school with the chairs
23. Might be impopular, but - the fights. They show there is something worth fighting for, and even thought in the first ones he left, he stayed in the sauna which leads to one of the most important:
24. Chasing after him in the streets in the middle of the night
I completely understand Lovro being frustrated that Ivan has repeatedly ignored his discomfort at being touched publicly. I would not like that at all. Ignored boundaries = disrespect.
I also just want him to be comfortable with being touched by his boyfriend :( I want him to be READY, and to accept himself. I think all this shit with Filip is making him feel so uncomfortably seen. He’s barely out, barely accepted that he’s gay.
The fact that we got to SEE Ivan running away. This feels like the most visceral representation of Even’s manic episode of ALL the Skams

"you wouldn't put up with me" was such a "i am depressed and i know that" thing to say, i wonder if they address the elephant in the room after all and make it a mentally ill 4 mentally ill type of situation
in general their fight is just such a sad fucking thing because ivan just wants to connect and his feelings are sincere but his state makes him blow everything out of proportion so he comes at lovro with TALKS OF MARRIAGE meanwhile lovro had a super shitty week and he's stressed and tired and worried and chaffed by ivan's disregard for his boundaries...i think when they finally reach the point when they're able to communicate and connect properly i'll cry. i'm glad they included the fight it was a great writing choice.
also the way in the beginning ivan's established as a bold guy but not reckless and someone who is concerned about homophobic violence and then mania creeps up on him and he starts doubting his mortality more and more which culminates with borderline provoking that guy at the sauna. that was really dangerous! sram never lets you forget about the looming threat of a hate crime does it
TTHISSs!! one of my favorite thing in this remake is Ivans depth like the school scene is a perfect example how well they did his character, like he is confident and out there so noone sees anything wrong but lovro knows he is also more calm and would never be pushy or fight back like that, and we all know this because of moments like his reaction to lovros rejection of the kiss and later his apology,Ivan put himself out there but respected lovros reaction, he understood why lovro reacted that way, or also when he told lovro he liked him, again confident, but also reassured lovro he didnt need to say anything because again he wouldnt overstep someones boundaries.
I think people are being way to negative about sram. I honestly think its one of the best written remakes out there, I think people that are criticizing the show too much are missing three big key points.
1. The best thing about the skam universe is that you get the same story but in different ways, thats what made druck and skam españa so good and loved, this remake is focusing on the struggles, like I get it they could have still have more cute moments but this is clearly the direction they wanted for this remake and they are doing it well.if you want lighter story watch the other remakes I think it actually completes the universe to have this more angsty (for lack of better word) version.
2. Sram is prioritizing character depth over the relationship, both characters are so well written and feel so real, all the decisions they make are absolutely in characters and they are even predictable because of how well we know them by now, and the reason we do is because they have chosen to, instead of showing us more cute relationship moments, to show us moments that are very telling of how the characters feel at different times with dif people etc.
3. Their relationship has never been built on cute moments together its always been about the inability to stay away from each other. This is the point that makes me most sad that people are missing cuz its so good, it proves how much they want to be together, they have had more struggles and fights and still they always go to each other cuz they cant not to, lovro has pushed Ivan away or left him so many times but ivan still goes to him when asked, no hesitation and lovro no matter how confused and afraid he is he still keeps reaching out to him. Like they have so many obstacles but they cant help wanting to be together.
I thought the spot where they would get back together after Ivans episode would be at the bench but now I think it might be the place from last night because imagine how great it would be to have lovro openly show Ivan he is there for him on a place where he rejected him twice, I think it would really prove to Ivan how much he cares for him.
