We Need More Tron!
It has been nine years since Tron Legacy and in that time we’ve had four Star Wars films, with a fifth by the end of the year. Two Star Trek sequels. Hey, we even had a Justice League movie. Tron, released in 1982, has a massive following and came out at the same time as ET. It introduced to a digital world filled with dazzling splendour, amazing vehicles such as lightcycles and solar sails. But it was governed by the merciless Master Control Program (MCP), whose orders where carried out by his iron fist, Sark who condemned any freethinking programs to the games with deadly disc battles. Only for, Kevin Flynn and the title hero, Tron to stand up and destroy MCP and Sark.
There was Tron 2.0, a first person shooter in 2003, but I never got round to playing that, but when Tron: Legacy came out in 2010 I was so pumped and rushed to the cinema to watch it and loved! Lord knows how many times I watched it on DVD, hoping to discover more about The Grid which, Kevin Flynn discovered and battled to survive against his own creation, Clu. A corrupted image of himself seeking perfection, and would stop at nothing to cleanse the grid of all impurities including, Flynn and his son, Sam. The ending of Legacy left massive opening for sequels, and was hopeful but they never came.
In 2012 we got animated series Tron: Uprising, which was a great continuation and was taking us deeper in the world of Tron, but a second season never followed and any hope of any future projects was met with silence.
However, I remain hopeful that the big players decide to re-boot, pun not intended, Tron for it has the potential to create a universe as big as Star Wars and Star Trek.
Before I sign off, I highly recommend Tron: Betrayal which was published in 2010 by Marvel Comics. It serves as a great opening leading up to the events of Legacy. End of line.

Positivity
As I drove to work today I thought about something I read once. I think it’s a quote but I can’t tell you who wrote it. Something about if you think positive and you put out positive vibes then they will come back to you.
While I sit here and try not to stare at my inbox for news from a possible employer, I keep redirecting myself to being positive. It’s sometimes easier to be negative and I often find myself doubting my talents or wondering what the employer is doing instead of calling or emailing me to offer me a job. It’s easy to tell myself they changed their mind or dwell on the fact that more and more people are leaving this company before me.
Not quite sure I have a point but I felt like maybe if I got my thoughts out here I wouldn’t keep thinking them? Lofty goal?
Just trying to get through the day and focus on things outside of work. Tomorrow is going to be a long day at a work event but worth it because I don’t have to sit in the office.
Positive vibes only!
Just spotted this little fella in my front garden!
Dear Brendan,
I’ve been angry, frustrated, annoyed and really yelled at you through the TV because I didn’t understand what the hell you were doing, I’ve disagreed with your tactics, but all the time I wanted everything to fall into place, I wanted you and our team to do well, and I find it sad that you now have to leave us, but at the same time I think it’s the right thing to do. It seemed like you had gone out of ideas, you looked defeated before we even started a match, and you looked tired from all the critics and rumours around you.
So Brendan, thank you for the last 3 years, thank you for making us believe again in 13/14, thank you for all the hard work you put in to our club, thank you for putting the club first and thank you for being our manager the last three years!
You’ll never walk alone

I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions.
