Maybe one reason time seems to speed up in adult life is because when your full time job leaves you roughly 5 hours of free time a day plus two days off a week your life turns into a sort of monotony that makes the days blend together and creative pursuits move in slow motion as you can only get to them when other your commitments are done.

FFXIV Shards & Sundered (ShB Spoilers!)

I feel like constantly trying to find out of a character is a 'shard' of a sundered character really does go against the point of shards in general and what Shadowbringers was saying.

The whole point is that shards are their own person- yeah they have similarities, but they are different people. They live and die their own lives, and there are no lesser for it. Trying to point at every new characters that acts similar to another from a different shard sort of devalues the idea and lends credit to the idea that they aren't 'real' people really. That the only reason they do what they do is because they're a shard.

Arbert wasn't a hero because he was a shard of Azem. He was a hero because he wanted to help people.

I say mostly because I've seen a lot of speculation that the roegadyn in the new Evercold trailer is a Hoary Boulder shard, and just like every time I see someone say 'Zero is a Shard of Zenos!' or 'Durante is a shard of Zenos!' or even 'Golbez is our 13th shard!' I just feel like it strips the character down to 'oh so that's why they do that.'

kris doesn't face left automatically at any point in this scene in-game

in other words, the ARG email writer made it so they're purposefully set to face left here

susie is the reason the weird route can't happen

susie is the reason both kris and noelle feel like they can live for a better future instead of dying in their deepest darkness

susie is the one who brings the background music back in kris's life

susie is the one who causes them to smile despite it all
