Chase was sitting in his room. He had wanted to see Scar but knew that if she wanted to see him that she would come to see him. He had her Valentines day present all wrapped and on his desk and all he needed was to see her, which he planned on doing later that night. He heard the knock and hopped up, opening the door and grinning as he saw her. “well well well, look whose risen from the land of books and studying.” he joked, kissing her forehead. “What do I owe this pleasure.” he grinned

She smiled rolling her eyes at his comment. “Can it Chase, the last thing I wanna think bout right now is books.” She mused while slightly blushing at the light peck on her forehead. She held out to him the chocolate and rose while looking away still a bit embarrassed by the whole thing as her cheeks burned brighter. “Don’t play dumb you know what today is. I’m not used to getting guys stuff...so I thought it best to go with the universal thing.” She admitted a bit bashfully. It still felt foreign having a boyfriend especially on a day like today.

“How long until the next break in the school year? Im already homesick.”

“I’m thinking other then this camping trip...about another month? Spring break I think it’s called.”

Vivian groaned. “That seems slightly horrifying.” She was excited to be in Auradon, but this was all a bit much. “How’s your Valentine’s Day going?”

She couldn’t help but chuckle a bit, “ Just a bit.” She shrugged, “ Fine I guess. I haven’t seen my boyfriend yet, but I’m sure he’ll pop up soon. He loves days like this.”

Logan winced at the very idea. “Lord, I hope not.”

“I feel like the people here have all their emotions on hyper-drive.”

V-Day || Chase & Scarlet

To most people’s surprise Scarlet’s MIA behavior wasn’t because she ran off this time, or because she got sent back to the isle. In fact the opposite. She’d decided to try to try now. She’d gotten so far behind in her studies because of her attitude however it was hard catching up. That and her below level reading ability made her take even longer. But when she noticed what day today was she knew she had to take a break and go see Chase. She missed spending time with him and she knew with as much as he did for her he deserved her attention. She got up early and bought a rose and some chocolates before heading over to his dorm room. She took a deep breath and knocked a few times, “ Chase...It’s me Scar.” she was nervous, which is a feeling she wasn’t the fondest of. Then again when wasn’t he the cause of butterflies in her stomach.

“Scar? Where have you been?” She asked, surprised to see her friend.

“Just to myself.” She shrugged. “Clearing my head is all. How’ve you been?”

Zelda glanced to the girl, “Scarlet? You’re here, as well?” she asked softly.

She nodded, “Yup, been here for a while but I kinda have been keeping to myself the past few weeks.” She shrugged. “I needed a break from...this.” She motioned around them.

“I guess there’s no in between here in Auradon. You’re either connected at the hip with someone or sulking. is every holiday here going to be weird?”

Zelda gave a small sigh as she watched the couples pass by, “This is Valentine’s Day, I suppose..”

She nodded, “ Yup....well valentines day in Auradon. Not really like this back home.”

“It’s the day that wearing all red isn’t considered as weird as it is the rest of the year so I went a little overboard.”

“I own a lot of red.”

“You know I own a lot of red too...but I think even I have to say this is a bit much.” She looked the boy over. At least she threw in some brown in her wardrobe. And yellow from time to time.

Vivian sat in the library, looking at all the happy couples with slight discomfort. She didn’t get this whole ‘love’ thing, it seemed overrated. She turned to the person next to her. “Is Auradon always like this?”

Scarlet was flipping through pages of the book she was reading when she heard the girls voice, “Hmm kinda. today is a bit more gag worthy then most though.” She shrugged. She was largely ignoring the other couples.

Chase nodded in relief, glad that she had said that she would tell him next time or just take him with her. “Good, but I’m sure the others missed you.” He murmured, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her onto his lap. “I can’t have been the only one.”

She sighed softly leaning into his warm embrace, “I think you underestimate how many people I piss off on a daily basis.” She giggled. She knew she was horrid, but she couldn’t bring herself to think she could be anything else. She lightly wrapped her arms around his neck, “I don’t mind though. You’re who I care about in this mess.”

Chase grinned as he knocked on Scarlets door. He had been getting ready for an hour, making sure he looked perfect since he knew that she would look absolutely stunning. He held her corsafe in his hand and hoped that she would like it.

“Scar, it’s me.” He said through the door, a smile on his face.

On a normal day scarlet puts quite a bit of effort into her looks, but today even more so. Not that she thought she needed much work to look stunning, but she did like to impress. Not to mention she was excited for this. More so then she let on during the week. She wanted to have a good time with Chase after all. Hearing his voice she put on her final touches, “ Coming!” she called out before rushing to the door and opening it with a light smile curled onto her lips. “Well hello there charming.” She chimed leaning up to place a sweet kiss on his lips.
